Yes, you can take admission in this college.
Placements: Until now our college placement is average but in days to come it will be good as our TPO is helping the students to placed in different companies. Almost all students got internship in different field as releted to their discipline. Uptil now only one or two companies came in my college for placement. All the companies come in the university for the placement and from their many students are getting placed. The average package that or seniors get was around 4-5 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Our College and Hostel is fully Wi-Fi accelerated. Our hostel and mess is good with separate mess for boys and girls. Our class, labs, Library is with Wi-Fi. All labs have all the equipment that present in a lab. Our hostel mess is very good with hygienic food. For drinking water purifiers are in the hostel.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly qualified and have come through BPSC exam. They are expert in their course. All the teacher are some ( Subject matter expert). Our faculty is like our friends who help, motivates and making fell comfortable in the class and make the student industry demanded.
Other: Fresher is organised for newly admitted students in the college. Farewell is organised for the passing out batch. Ever year college fest is organised in our campus in which we have to participate in different categories I. e cricket, badminton, volleyball, dance, painting, singing, coding etc. And other Extracurricular activities is organised for the development of the students.

Overall, this college is a good option for students.
Placements: This college was started in 2018, so only one batch graduated. The government is trying to provide placements. Private companies come to the college. Many changes are required to attract popular companies. About 20%-30% of students in our college got placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are decent. Labs should be modified to some extent, and good lab assistants are required to carry out lab classes. Three hostel buildings are present. One is for girls, and two are for boys. The mess and canteen are decent. A playground is not allotted for girls.
Faculty: I am from the electrical engineering department. Faculty members are good, but they can be improved. Overall, better education is given by our faculty members. The government will hire permanent faculty members very soon. Every year, 5 credit points are required to pass the examinations.

Government Engineering College, Jamui is one of the well-disciplined colleges.
Placements: In Government Engineering College Jamui, placements started in 2022. Many students from several branches got placements in different companies such as Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college provides many facilities such as Wi-Fi, departmental labs, 3 messes, and a good canteen. Our college has a playground in which students play different games such as football, cricket, etc.
Faculty: All teachers are well-educated. A few of them are well-qualified from top institutions like IIITs. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage is around 75-80%.
Other: I am currently pursuing a B.Tech degree in electronics and communication engineering. I took the BCECE lateral entry exam after completing my diploma, and I achieved a good rank in the results. After this, I participated in the counseling process and got selected for admission to this college. Our college conducts all cultural events in a well-disciplined way.

The fees is very affordable.
Placements: Currently there are no provisions and facility for the on campus placement and therefore no one from our college got any job through on campus placement, but there are upcoming opportunities in future as the state government, AICTE and our university (Aryabhatta Knowledge University) have taken some steps towards it. Even there is no facility for on campus placement but students can get placement through off campus, that is attending various job fairs organised by many State and Central Government. At last if you are talented, have skills and you are hardworking then you will definitely get the job by various other means. There are many competitive exams also like GATE IES etc. Where one can prove their knowledge. There are many internships also where one can earn stipends through their knowledge and skills. Many talented students have gotten these types of internships.
Infrastructure: Currently our college have four departments and offers admission in four courses namely Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Almost all the essential facilities are available there. Our college has two buildings in one building All the departments, offices and all the classrooms are there. In the other building the mess and hostel is there. The hostel is very good and also the mess and the quality of food at the mess is very good. At present the hostel is not available for every students but only for the very needful students. But it will be available for maximum students soon. It has got a good library where all the essential books are available. At present one student is allowed to borrow only 3 books from the library. The classrooms are also very good, currently we have only simple white boards for teaching but it will soon have smart boards. All the Labs are also very good and have the essential materials and tools required. At present students don't have the access to the Wi-Fi but it is going to be available for all students soon. Our college has recently moved to our new campus, therefore many new facilities are about to be added.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good. Many of them are Ph.D. holders and have very good knowledge about their subjects and have better teaching experience. They are also very helpful and friendly as well. There way and method of teaching is very good. They teaches us to take the things more practically rather than only theoretically. Almost the course curriculum is very good but it needs some changes and updates with the time in order to make students more industry ready.
Other: I choose this course as I was unable to qualify for the JEE Advanced therefore I did not got the IIT and NIT, which are government colleges and also my financial condition was very bad and I was unable to take admission in any private college. I just unwillingly applied for the BCECEB as I belongs to Bihar and I was selected and got this course in my hometown college during the counselling. I just choose this course as I had very interest in this branch and my relatives also told me that this branch is very good. I think this course need some upgradation with time and it should focus to make students more industry ready so that they will be hired quickly for the job. Some scholarships are available in our college but I have not yet availed any of them and therefore don't have much idea about that.
