This is a good college academically, but the campus life is very limited.

Placements: Most of the students are getting placements according to their performance. Infosys, Wipro, etc., are the top recruiting companies. This college offers five bachelor of technology i.e B.Tech, and three master of Engineering i.e M.Tech courses. It is affiliated with this University of Calicut and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, and is recognised by the All India Council of Technical Education i.e AICTE. Around 66 regular students and six lateral entry students are accepted and enrolled ...

It is not the right option if you want a cinematic campus life.

Placements: A good number of students got placed, mostly from ECE and electronics-related branches. The salary packages offered were quite minimal. It ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Companies that recruit on campus are Qburst, CTS, Mitsogo, etc., with the up-growing IT sector being the majority. Internships had nothing to do with the college, as it's an individual responsibility of the student to apply and get somewhere, and very few got into properly paid internships. Systems engineer and project engineer are...

I am absolutely dissatisfied with faculty but our college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Not many students were placed in our college. Around 30% of students were placed. For our mechanical department, only a single core company attended for placements. Many IT companies visit our campus for recruitment. TCS is the major recruiting company. Most of the mechanical students are not trying to acquire IT jobs.

It is an excellent college in Kerala.

Placements: The college has a placement cellular. Around 70% of college students got located in numerous corporations like Infosys, VKC, HCL, Tata, Wipro, Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum, and so forth. I am pursuing B.Tech in mechanical engineering from the 2021 batch and will pass out in 2025. The placement cell makes plenty of efforts to herald as many establishments as possible to the college. In 2020, around 55% of college students had been given placements. In 2021, about 62% of college students ...

recommend this college for your better placements.

Placements: As a mechanical student, I want to say something that percent of students placed in the mechanical batch is quite less than other branches. But we are getting many placements in our branch. Our alumini also help to get additional placement opportunities.

Review about Government College of Engineering, Calicut.

Placements: I am a first-year student but as far as I know, many have been placed in various companies like UST Global, Infosys, VKC, HCL, and other companies. The placement officers and teachers help us to achieve this goal. The student groups are also very helpful.

It is a great college for a great campus life.

Placements: Placements in the core mechanical companies are less. The college has a special placement cell that organises coaching classes and all. If you attend those it will be truly beneficial. Infosys, Byju's, and Tata Consultancy are the major recruiting companies offering a salary minimum of 2 LPA.

Compared to other colleges, our campus space is less and has less technical fests and celebrations.

Placements: Only 40% of students get placed from our college. Only 5 branches are available here. Out of these five branches, only 40% of students get placed. For placement offers, only IT companies like Infosys, etc., visit here. Therefore branch wise placements were not provided. About 70% of students attend internships.

I am satisfied with teachers, average placements, very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Most of the students got placed in IT companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. Byju's is one of the leading companies in education, which also recruit many trainees from here with an average salary. Other than that, none of the reputed companies visits our college. The placement cell organises many good classes.

Placements: The college conducts very good placement drives. More than 75 students successfully got placed in various companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, QBrust, etc. They provided proper training to us for these interviews. They conduct a seven-day training programme, which improves the skills of all the students.
