The faculty encourage and support research studies and are quite helpful.
Placements: The placement is not quite well. There are minimum numbers of companies that offer job here. But the most prestigious ones are BEL and ADOBE offering the highest packages. Other than that, lesser companies are called upon and more focus is on mugging up rather than acknowledging and enhancing the skills.
Infrastructure: Entire campus including the hostels are provided with high-speed Internet. That helps a lot in development and social skills of the students. Rather than that, the labs are there but mostly closed or less experimented. The library is open on working days and posses quality books and audio series.
Faculty: The faculty of the GBPIET are well qualified and mostly Ph.D. holders. They encourage and support research studies and are quite helpful as well as informative. The course curriculum is followed as per the government regulations and continues semester term.

COT Pantnagar is the best college in Uttarakhand as the placement opportunities are good.
Placements: COT Pantnagar is our college. COT is always recognised for the placements. Students of our senior batch and our batch were placed in many MNCs and PSUs. The salary packages offered by the company are 3-8.5 LPA. We have a placements cell in our college. It is a government college, and it is good for students who want to take admission in Pantnagar. The speciality of the college is the course named agriculture engineering which is world famous. Many scholars visit here to do research in this field. Many students are provided with internships at various places.
Infrastructure: Regarding the infrastructure, the college provides all facilities on the campus. There are many colleges in the university, and all are well mannered. Big classrooms and halls are available in the college. The college provides Wi-Fi facility. The water supply of the college is very good. Our hostels are very good. If you are looking for government college, then this college is good as it provides lots of facilities.
Faculty: There are many professors, and mostly all are qualified with PhDs in their related field. The quality of teaching was good. It was a little bit tough for B.tech students as there are lots of curricular activities. The participation is mandatory in those activities, so everybody was busy at college time. Our faculty members provide a lot of opportunities and industry exposure.
Other: Every year, the college organises lots of events. The famous event named Kisan Mela is organised twice in a year. There is a massive crowd due to lots of courses and colleges in the university. Connectivity was nice to Pantnagar from Delhi. It is near to Nainital and it's easy to travel there. There are lots of scholarship programs held throughout the year, and students get the scholarships every year.
