Great faculty, good infrastructure and good placements.

Placements: The placement season of this year is yet to commence. However, from the previous year experiences, the placements have been good, offering an average package of 12 LPA to 12.5 lacs per annum. Companies like Deloitte, ZS Associates, Amazon, etc., visited the campus. Some companies offered a very niche role in the area of analytics especially. Overall, it is a good kickoff than its contemporaries. Everybody gets placed by the end of the season.

Great Lakes is good for MBA.

Placements: The college ensures 100% placements for the whole batch with the companies from a wide range of industries and many diverse roles. Since it is an 11-months course, it is a great feat for the college that most of the students have got more than 100% hike in their salaries. Most of the students took marketing as their role, so most of the companies were for marketing roles.

Great Lakes, a great institute for learning.

Placements: Year on year, the placements see a rise in terms of good companies and packages. For my senior batch, the average was somewhere between 11-12 LPA. This prompted me to join the college. During my batch placement, we faced a lot of political and weather turmoil hindering our placement week at the start of Dec 2016. None the less, we had 100% placement by the end of the course. Due to slump in IT placements, the average package remained same as that of our senior batch, i.e., between 11-12LPA.

Good college for the career jump.

Placements: For the one-year PGPM course, the placement offered is 99%. Most of the recruiters who visit the campus are either IT products or services based companies. This is in line with the batch mix, which has over 80% IT background students. The Median salary during my batch offered was around Rs. 10 LPA. As this is a one year course, there were no internships, but many opportunities for the live projects are available.

TCS is the major recruiter, and many have come on sabbatical from TCS. The internships are not there for PGPM as the duration is just a year. You will get opportunities to do re...
