Good infra with average to good faculty and placements.

Placements: Placements are much better for our batch as compared to our seniors. Quite a lot of opportunities if captured properly by the students. The placement team works till the very end to get everyone placed. Great learnings in internships for PGDM. Huge batch size of 600 is always placed.

Satisfied, and good in all aspects.

Placements: The placements in our college are 100%. The average salary offered was 9 LPA. Most of the roles offered were marketing, followed by ops finance. Our college should get better after accreditation this year so that it can improve the companies profile. The college management has to try for the better placements. Highly competitive and highly recommended college.

Overall it is the best institute with respect to the campus and teaching faculty.

Placements: For our batch the companies which came on campus were pretty good and had a reputed name in their respective industry. Along with the popular ones some startups also showed up for the first time and were offering hefty stipends for the internship. Overall our batch had a 100% placement record.

Great Lakes, a great institute for learning.

Placements: Year on year, the placements see a rise in terms of good companies and packages. For my senior batch, the average was somewhere between 11-12 LPA. This prompted me to join the college. During my batch placement, we faced a lot of political and weather turmoil hindering our placement week at the start of Dec 2016. None the less, we had 100% placement by the end of the course. Due to slump in IT placements, the average package remained same as that of our senior batch, i.e., between 11-12LPA.

A decent, tier 2 college, a bit biased towards Tamilians.

Placements: The placements for PGDM course are decent, few big companies and 1-2 FMCG come every year. The average CTC is around 7-8 LPA. The placements committee is a bit biased for Tamilians. From this year, one more rule is implemented, that you can't reject PPO.

Good college for the career jump.

Placements: For the one-year PGPM course, the placement offered is 99%. Most of the recruiters who visit the campus are either IT products or services based companies. This is in line with the batch mix, which has over 80% IT background students. The Median salary during my batch offered was around Rs. 10 LPA. As this is a one year course, there were no internships, but many opportunities for the live projects are available.

GLIM - PGPM. An authentic and truthful review.

Placements: All the years, the placement committees have ensured 100% placements for all the batches. For PGPM 16, the average salary was 12 lpa, and this keeps on increasing year on year. The companies are allowed for the campus placements only if they offer a minimum package of 8.5 lpa. 80% of the companies are IT or ITES related. TCS is the major recruiter, and many have come on sabbatical from TCS. The internships are not there for PGPM as the duration is just a year. You will get opportunities to do re...

Good college to learn and a lifetime of experience.

Placements: Mine was a one year program with no internship. The schedule is a bit hectic but the learning one gets is tremendous. For placements, if you are interested in moving back to IT industry or want to start your career in analytics than GLIM is one of the best colleges. Since it is a one year program, so a prior job experience of 2 years is mandatory. In terms of placement, most of the big IT/Software/Analytics companies visit the campus with good job profiles and compensation. Companies like Amaz...

Excellent academics, faculty, and a great learning experience. Placements good but can improve.

Placements: The PGP MBA program is a one-year and a fast paced course followed by placements in the 7th month or so, since the inception of the course. So though there are few internships that the PlaceCom floats across but it's neither compulsory nor really viable in such a short time course. But students do apply and many of them go through the internship. Coming to placements, the standard has been increasing in terms of the top-notch cos. visiting the campus. The PlaceCom makes it sure that each of the...
