1 year MBA + expert faculty + 4400 alumni network + above industry avg placements = GLIM Chennai.

Placements: It is awesome and above the industry standard. Even colleges like IIM Indore are struggling but we just improved our previous record. Our 90% batch is already placed with more than 70 corporates visiting our campus. Our college has surpassed the likes of MDI and we are giving a tough time to ISB. We have the best analytics program and I am in love with analytics. One need not worry about the placements. The CCS team is headed by industry experts and the corporates have made a beeline to get a sl...

An honest review of Great Lakes PGPM.

Placements: There are 100% placements here. The highest package offered is approximately 50 lakhs/annum and the average package offered is 10+ lakhs/annum. Post the cream companies like Deloitte and ZS, most of the companies that came to the campus were based in Chennai. The placements are good, but the placement director is unapproachable as he has an attitude problem and is hated by most. Switching to a different stream would be extremely difficult here.

Best college to learn in india.

Placements: Placement was marginally better than the last yrs batch. 100% students got placed. The average salary was around 12 lakh. There is no provision for the internship as it is a 1-year course. Many dream jobs come to the campus with profiles for positions from different industries.

It is a great college with great infrastructure and awesome faculty. The placements are decent and the ROI is okay. This college is worth going for. Student life is very good. College is maintained by Sodexo, therefore, college is well maintained. Classes are interactive in nature and are a healthy mix of formal lectures, case studies, and presentations.

I attended the first year flagship course. The faculty is extraordinarily good. The peer group is great, both in terms of skills and personality. There is a lot to learn. Moreover, if you a have typical IT experience or want to explore a career in IT, then this the place to attend. They make sure that each and every candidate is placed. Median at my time hovered between rupees 9-10 lakhs per annum. Further, when I compare it with IMT Ghaziabad, new IIMs, and TAPMI etc. It beats them hands down. ...

The faculty members are excellent. The typical audience of the PGPME has 0-5 years of work experience, with an average work experience of little over 2 years. About 40% of the class has an experience of more than 2.5 years, highest being 5 years. The class has a fair mix of people from various backgrounds – IT, Management, Consulting, Power, EPC etc. Everyone experiences their time at Great Lakes in a unique way. You spend your time on activities and opportunities that get you really excited...

Known for PGPM, the professors used to be top notch from around the world and thus knowledge imparted was of high quality. The placement team gives the facilities of placement but doesn’t give a real picture at the time of admissions. The placements are limited only to IT companies. There is limited focus on practical knowledge. Strategy courses are good. The college has a plush green campus but the fees is too high in terms of the returns.

Great Lakes Institute of Management is located about 10kms from the historic Mahabalipuram shore temple on the way to Pondicherry on the East Coast Road. The campus is undoubtedly a green, serene and peaceful place. Spreading over 22 acres of land, it is the only LEED Platinum rated campus in the country, which means the campus is pollution free. The infrastructure is top notch, be it the gym, the amphitheater-styled classrooms, the canteens, the Wi-Fi enabled air-conditioned hostels. The food i...

The college is awesome in terms of academic knowledge and practical exposure. It provides great opportunities not only restricted to education but also sports, acting, leadership etc. The college is a bit expensive when it comes to fee structure, but if you manage to work hard and secure a good job, the ROI is much more. The placement opportunities are immense, one needs to be confident and score well throughout along with the knowledge building aspect.

Spread over 27 acres GLIM is one of the most beautiful B-schools in India. The infrastructure is excellent and is very well maintained. It is a residential campus and every student must stay in the hostel itself. The campus even provides accommodation for married students. The food in the college canteen tastes superb in the first couple of months and you will find it quite boring later on. GLIM offers two major courses that are, PGDM and PGPM. Often people get confused between both the courses....

Great infrastructure but it comes with a cost.

Placements: Since it is a one-year course, there is no internship. The placement period starts after the 3rd semester. Some companies come before the placement period like Deloitte, CBC etc, but the median package offered is a little less. The roles offered will be mainly based on your previous experience.

Great Lakes implements the concept of visiting faculty members, wherein you get the best of professors from across the country and abroad. We had professors coming on from IIMs and ISB last year, making it a great learning experience. The PGPM course gives students an opportunity to learn from industry experts and apply their learning in their jobs. The course is rigorous but is a good value for money. One of the best colleges for people planning for MBA with 3+ years of experience.

Pros: A great and wonderful experience of a lifetime. The faculty & campus facilities are excellent. The placements are also good. A very diverse crowd. It has a one-year fast track program Cons: The fee is a little expensive as compared to other B-schools. 90% companies that visit are only for IT roles, so if you are not from IT, it would be little difficult to get a job (but you definitely would get on in the end).

The college offers 100% placements since inception, The average salary is around rupees 12 lakhs per annum. You save one year, so great ROI, The faculty is matched only by top IIMs/ISB, one of the handful of internationally accredited B-Schools in India, The institute is growing at a rapid rate and ranking higher in all rankings with each passing year. Being located in a metro is an added advantage. The crowd is mostly from IT background, so diversity is lacking. Though the 1st year's course is...

Great Lakes was one of the earliest colleges to come up with this innovative 1-year fast track MBA program on the lines of Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. It is 10 years old now and it has come a long way from its humble beginnings. It has 50% international faculty members who are very good. The in-house faculty is average. At a fee of rupees 17 lakhs, it is not an ideal value-for-money course as the average campus placement CTC hovers around rupees 10 lakhs per annum. It has a beautiful...

It has a superb infrastructure and excellent faculty. Recreational facilities are provided, but the college can work to make it better. Internet speed is awesome, classrooms are well designed, the library has ample books on management, but the educational database subscriptions should be expanded for more enhanced learning. The faculty is the best. The placements are poor and the college needs to work hard. Overall, I would like to recommend this college to juniors from a learning perspective, ...

Fine college in terms of placements, college, facility, and so on.

Placements: Each 12 months, our institute offers a massive quantity of placement opportunities for our college students, with approximately 70-80% of them securing campus placements. The income applications supplied range from a maximum of 23 LPA to a the lowest of 4 LPA, with an average package deal of 8 LPA. Famend companies including HCL, Deloitte, Levis, RBS, and EY are most of the top recruiters, and the university guarantee 100% internships for its students.

I am satisfied with our college, but the fees is a bit high.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 8 Lacs and the average salary package offered is 14 LPA. Accenture Strategy and BCG are the top recruiters, and consulting is the top role offered in our course. It is a 1-year course, so we get directly placed.
