    A:
    {Source: B.Tech students & alumni]

GNIT IPU Campus offers a relatively hectic academic schedule with over 15 lectures per week, and students have access to well-stocked libraries and teaching faculty who provide resources for research and reading. The campus has guards and CCTV cameras installed everywhere, ensuring a secure environment for students. Sports facilities are limited but manageable, and there are designated student representatives available for support. While attendance policies are strict, students report no instances of discrimination and find the college culture friendly and inclusive.

Based on the reviews provided, here's a summary of the overall infrastructure of the college:

The college has a spacious infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms, laboratories and a library. The classrooms are air-conditioned and have smart classes, providing a comfortable learning environment. The laboratories are fully equipped with modern equipment, enabling students to gain hands-on experience. The college also has a library with a vast collection of books and journals.

However, there are some areas where the college could improve. The food quality in the college hostel can be better and some reviewers mentioned that the Wi-Fi facility is not always reliable. Additionally, some reviewers expressed concerns about the condition of the ACs in the hostel, with some working properly and others not.

Q:   What is the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.E. / B.Tech programs at GNIT IPU?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.E./B.Tech Programs at GNIT IPU

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered about the placement cell:

    * Placement Cell: College provides average placements, and it's hard to get internships. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Wipro.
    * Limited Support: College is of no help for placements. Students have to try very hard to get placed when the times get tough.
    * No Proper Assistance: The placement cell is of no use. Everyone has to try off-campus to get a job.
    * Few Job Opportunities: Not all but a few of the facilities in my prospective location are good. Placements are really poor.

It appears that the placement cell could improve in terms of supporting students' career aspirations and securing job opportunities. While there are a few positive mentions, the majority of feedback suggests that students need to rely heavily on their own efforts to secure employment.

Absolutely a great college for B. Tech.
Placements: I am in my final year, last semester. I have already started my internship at NAGARRO (MNC). The majority of my seniors are placed in MNCs, some are in NAGARRO with a package of 7+ LPA. In my batch, 70% of students have already started their internship and a few are preparing for further studies.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is nice, neat, and clean. I can say it is well-organized. All the basic facilities like Wi-Fi, books, and e-books are available. A well-stocked library is there, and all course-related books are available in the library, so there is no need to buy from outside.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They provide notes for every lecture. Coding classes are in digital smart classes. The GN Group is affiliated with GGSIPU, so the course curriculum is designed by the university. The exams are conducted on a semester-wise basis.

    Good college for engineering students.
Placements: I am still studying but I got to know about my seniors and they got good placements. One of my seniors got a salary package of 11 LPA in Paisa Bazar. Mostly seniors got an average salary package of 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Very big IT companies do not visit here. We are supposed to get internships and placements in the final year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of GNIT is good. We have all resources available like Wi-Fi on campus, a computer lab, a library, and an auditorium for events. We do not have many sports. I live in the hostel so I can tell you that it is good. We got timely and different food.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and knowledgeable. They always support students in their projects. Nowadays, they teach in a job-oriented manner. We can know how to get jobs in companies. The curriculum is given by IP University. It is approved by UGC. We need to study properly to pass semester exams.
Other: I have been interested in engineering since I was in class 10. They can give more industry trainers as an improvement. GNIT is located in a knowledge park. The crowd is huge. The connectivity is the best due to the various colleges here.

Satisfied by the lenient attendance system; infrastructure is average, not many events are held.
Placements: Placement drives are currently going on; few students have been selected for internship and job interviews, but we were not provided any opportunities for internship in our third year. Top recruiting companies are Quess, TPM, Grapecity. Developed roles are offered for now.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average; no fancy halls or classrooms. The library is still okay. Wi-Fi is obviously not available for everyone; computers are connected with an Ethernet cable, not all. Hostels are average, not much strict. No canteen available or it's shut down for now. Not much for sports, only a small ground is available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but self-study is the way, just like in most colleges. You can't rely on teachers to understand concepts. The course is provided by IPU, and they changed the course recently, but the curriculum at my time was irrelevant and utterly useless for a job. You will not acquire the skills required for a job through college. Passing marks are 40/100, including practical and theory marks, and IPU provides grace marks for a maximum of two subjects. Passing the semester exams is not that difficult.
Other: CSE is the most popular course; that's why I took it. The college does organize freshers, but that's pretty much it.

I am satisfied with GNIT IPU.
Placements: Placement in GNIT is acceptable, meaning around 60 to 70 percent of students get placement, but the problem is big CMM level companies are not visiting. But it's still okay to get a job in Delhi NCR-based companies. From my batch, the highest package was 7.5 LPA and the lowest was 5 LPA. Companies like Kloud Computing, SATYA, and Radiant, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of GNIT is good, including AC rooms, labs, and libraries, but they have limited space and options for sports, but that can be manageable. The hostel is also good, and they provide variety in food. GNIT has the best CSE department among all their colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are good and knowledgeable, and they are always ready to help students except for some faculty members. As GNIT is affiliated with IPU, we have the IPU B.Tech curriculum, and yes, that's acceptable by industries. We have semester exams and we need to study throughout; only then can we pass. From 100 students, 60-70 students pass the same.
Other: For me, GNIT is value for money because the admission department gave me a good scholarship. Engineering can do any kind of work in IT; that's why this is the best course. We have enjoyed here because our college is surrounded by so many other colleges.

    GNIT is an Affordable College.
Placements: I am in the final year, and some students got internships and placements too. About 70-75% of students can get placements in this college, as I can see from my senior batch. From my class, most of the students got placed in Policybazaar, Radiant Teach, and other Delhi-based companies. The max package is 9 LPA, and the lowest is approximately 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has all the necessary facilities like good classrooms with AC, computer lab, library, and an auditorium for events. The hostel in our college is good, and we get different food items as well. Medical and canteen facilities are fine for use, but sports facilities are a little limited here.
Faculty: GNIT has good, experienced faculty members who always listen and support us. The teaching quality is almost good except for one or two teachers. We have to follow the IP University curriculum because our college is affiliated with this university, so the curriculum is good. We have semester exams, and yes, we need to give time to study to pass.
Other: For me, it's value for money because I got a 40K scholarship from the college. I want to work in IT companies, which is why I chose this course. As an improvement, they must provide more technical professionals from the industry for training and guidance. Our campus is surrounded by many colleges, so the crowd and connectivity are very good here.

This can be really good infrastructure and facilities in this college.
Placements: The college witnessed a staggering 90% placement rate, with salary packages ranging from 5 LPA to 12 LPA. Notably, esteemed companies such as HCL and TCS were among the recruiters. This presents a promising opportunity for students pursuing this course. Considering its average standing, this college proves to be a viable option for participation.
Infrastructure: The hostel building appears aged and dilapidated. The architectural design of the building is antiquated. The curriculum is beneficial for learning. The duration of the classes is lengthy and does not allow for interactive sessions. The air conditioning units in the classrooms are not operating efficiently. This could pose a problem during the summer months when the building may become stuffy.
Faculty: The college boasts a commendable faculty and examination system. The well-educated teachers are adept at clarifying doubts and providing an exceptional educational experience to students. However, it is important to note that the responsibility of making the most of the knowledge imparted by the teachers lies with the students themselves. The teachers will offer guidance, but it is up to the students to overcome any challenges they may face.
Other: This campus attracts a respectable number of students, and it offers excellent connectivity. Moreover, the college premises are spacious enough to accommodate a large student population.
