Everything you need to know about Guru Nanak College, Chennai
Placements: As it's a reputed college here, mostly 60–70 percent of students get their placement. In this college, the highest package is INR 30–40 LPA, and the lowest is INR 5–6 LPA if you are willing and skilled. You will get the chance to meet many reputed companies for your interview purposes, and it's a high chance to get into these kinds of companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good, and the classrooms are also nice and airy. You will not feel like you are in a close environment. There is no girls hostel provided, but for boys there is. The environment of the college is nice, full of greenery.
Faculty: Faculty members are too nice and friendly, especially the principal of the college. She will also help you out in every situation. Teachers are highly qualified; most of them are Ph.D. holders. Exams are pretty good, and they're in the range of moderate to difficult.
Other: I chose this course as this is very rare in India, and most of them are not aware of it. Something practical and more site visits can help the students understand more, and teachers should properly explain to the students the importance and benefits of this course.

So absolutely satisfied with this college .
Placements: Percentage of students placed are bit low here (only for Defence and Strategic Studies course) since it's a arts college and that too this course thou have wide scope but don't have opportunities for Bachelor's level, so that's not college mistake. But still various security agencies and other agencies have approached for chief security officer level post starting perks (?35000-50000/month). Also students have taken interns from various Defence and Police organizations .
Infrastructure: Hostel is situated 2 km apart from the college but they provide pickup bus service. Food is decent and menus are frequently changed as per students wish. This college is known for it's sports ground and the quality of players they produce. (esp Cricket, Volleyball, Handball. Etc. ) Classroom are organically designed so as to allow more of sunlight and fresh air inside. College is Wi-Fi enabled campus .
Faculty: Professor are quite experienced and even some take up central government project and ACT as think tanks so I would surely recommend their guidance. They also recently revised their old curriculum to a new one after analyzing the job opportunities and upgrades. You need to really work hard to get good percentile, otherwise passing the exams aren't big deal provided one has to study and attending regular classes.
Other: College ambience is the best and one can relate with the nature. Apart from academics this college is also known for extending service to the society as they immediately take up or come forward for all kinda help for any kinda people (flood measures, Covid relief. Etc. ) .

I am satisfied with the infrastructure and very good faculty members.
Placements: The college provides many job offers, and many students got placed with a very good salary package. Companies which are approaching our campus for interviews are genuine, and they are giving a chance for all the talented students. Top roles, like an army, civil service, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: Our college is surrounded by nature's beauty, many trees and different types of bushes which gives a cool atmosphere. In our college centre, there is a big cricket ground which is maintained by the college management, and other sports activities are also very good. The hostel is good. Canteen food is superb, and varieties of food are also available.
Faculty: Professors, teachers and other staff members are very helpful and very patient while clearing the doubts. While teaching, they also wait until the students understand the concept. The curriculum is very good, and each year the syllabus is upgraded.

Absolutely satisfied with the course offered.
Placements: Guru Nanak College is so great when it comes to teaching, especially the department of defense and strategic studies. There are a lot of benefits from defense and strategic studies; there are also some top recruiting companies and many of the students go on internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good enough and the classrooms and library are so neat and well maintained. The college provides free Wi-Fi facilities to the students and the library gives you all the articles and books that are used for competitive exams.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good, and the staff are so friendly that we can reach them whenever we have any doubts regarding the subjects. This is so relevant. Semester exams are a bit tough. This course makes the students industry-ready. I think the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an assistant professor and clear the NET JRF exam. There are no suggestions about the improvements the college provides for every need.

Satisfied. Really rood infrastructure.
Placements: Above 70% of students placed in my course. Our course is a specific course so there are no internships provided for our students. And I'm not sure what kind of top roles are offered In our course. Mostly BPO companies are providing internships in our college.
Infrastructure: Really good facilities and good food available in our college canteen and they provide free food available in our college. We have a really good library. We spend most of our time in canteen and library. We have excellent sports coaching especially in cricket.
Faculty: Teachers are so talented in teaching lessons. Each of them are very knowledgeable. Each of them are really talented in their own subject. Their teaching is really awesome. This course makes the students industry ready.
Other: I chose this course because I loved It.
