Gtbit - Average College - Study well - Get placed.

Placements: The college offers decent placements. Most of the students get placed in 3-3.5 Lacs slab. Few companies offer higher package. Few companies that visit the campus are SAP Labs, Sapient Consulting, Aricent, Infosys, Ericsson. Profiles offered are software developer, QA Engineer, Network Engineer. A great college if you don't have a choice.

Placements: Placements are the most important aspect of a reputed college. The college campus is situated in the city. So, major software companies visit our college for placements. Finally, it is up to your potential whether you get a package of 12 LPA at Amazon or a package of 2 LPA at some random start-up company.

Placements: Barely. Companies like hcl, TCS, csc, sapient. That's it. And, if there was a pool campus going on somewhere, our placement cell just informed us about it. Then, it was upto us to go to them and get ourselves placed. And, in pool campuses. Preference was always given to the college hosting the drive. And, I think 60-70% students got placed from our college, and those who did not, mostly had pending backlogs. The highest salary was by sapient only. I guess 5 Lacs per annum. And minimum was hcl wi...

A good college, and faculty can be improved.

Placements: The placements have been decent; there have been companies reaching out to the college and giving decent packages. The average package offered is 3 LPA, but depending on your skills, you can always look out for other exams such as eLitmus, etc. for off-campus placements.

Satisfactory faculty with good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement cell is okay. You get a lot of opportunities to get placed, but most of them are average, below average companies or mass recruiters. The placement cell conducts various exams for job placements as well such as Cocubes, Elitmus, etc. Overall, the placements from this college are average.

The college life of a GTBITian.

Placements: There are 50% of the placements as there will be about 15 companies including startups. 1, 2 mass recruiters (Infosys, Erricson). You will get few chances to get the package of above 10 LPA if you work hard. As according to records from 2015-2018, around 3 students are placed. 20% are placed for 3-5 LPA. 5% of the students got the package of above 5 LPA.

The faculty are good, and the fest is very good. Being here is fun.

Placements: Current Placement head is Mr Jagtar. He was trying and tried his best at our time to bring the maximum number of companies to the college. Mostly startups were there. He managed to cover a wide range of companies which included Samsung, Josh and other as well. If the student is well-versed with his skills, he can secure a job here. The highest was 11 LPA from Amazon followed by 8 LPA from Samsung.

It is a great college with a little things to work on.

Placements: The placement cell or CDMC helps individual students to seek opportunities in the vicinity and India. Further, the college has tie-ups with several MNCs that come for on-campus placement opportunities. We can have an average package of about 3.2 LPA in the current session. Several seminars and training sessions are held (mostly free of cost) for personality training.

Exposure in this college is good. And if you gain knowledge then you will surely get a decent job.

Placements: The placement from this college is average. But you must be quite sure that if you belong to CSE or IT department, you should have some basic knowledge, then you will be placed quickly. Your package would be between 2.5 LPA to 12 LPA depending on your knowledge. This year the highest package gone up to is 8.5 LPA, and It will go more to the final semester, and the average salary package is 3.5 LPA. While the students who have good knowledge, their salary package has gone to 24.5 LPA, but they ar...

It is a pretty good third tier college.

Placements: The placements from this college are pretty good. More than 30 companies visit this college for on-campus placements. The average package here is 3.5 LPA-4 LPA and can go as high as 10 LPA. The placements are almost 100%. The placement cell is very helpful. There are a lot of internship offers.

A really good college with average infrastructure but awesome faculty and average placements.

Placements: The placement scenario for EEE branch is the worst. Only companies for CS/IT come here. You can do hard work to crack GATE if you want to join PSU jobs or M.Tech. Don't expect anything from this college, but the scenario for CS/IT is very good, and for ECE, it's somewhat similar to EEE, but some mass recruiters come here for placement.

A good college if you want to enjoy and study.

Placements: The placements are average for the Guru Tegh Bahadur. The computer science and the information technology department has a very good placements, and the average placement is Rs. 4 Lakhs. But the placements here are not that much in the electronics and EEE department, but the HOD is trying to improve it.

It is a good college, and I am satisfied with all the services I got from here.

Placements: A lot of companies visit our college for the placements. All you need is a good track record with no backlogs. The placement is average from the college. The seniors got placed in some companies like Wipro and Infosys, and if you have trained well and made the projects, then it'll help you to get placed easily.

Just another college in IPU.

Placements: The placements vary year to year and batch to batch. The list of companies visited in 2016 is Sapient, SAP Labs, Infosys, Ericsson, Posist Technologies and some more. At the end of a session, almost everyone gets placed. The college takes the help of co-cubes and the other colleges like(Panipat Institute of Technology) and arranges pool drives with them to bring us more offers. Most of the people get placed with a package of 3.45 LPA. But a few talented ones can get the high packages as 7-8 LPA....

Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology.

Placements: The average placement for CSE and IT department is good, and it is around 3-4 lakhs CTC. The placements are very bad for EEE branch. The placements for ECE branch is not good and not bad, but last year, only a few students got placed from these two branches. The companies which visit GTBIT aren't are Wipro, HCL, NIIT, Infosys, and many more.

I am satisfied with the college.

Placements: For now, there are no placement companies for EEE, but for CSE, many top companies come for placements. The placement for EEE is very low. The minimum percentage that the companies demand lies within a range of 70-75 in all the semesters with no pending backlogs. The package offered is in the range of 2.4 lacs to 8 lacs per annum. The main companies that visit are IBM, Samsung, Wipro, HCL, Sukam, etc. Almost 200 students got placed from the previous batch.

Good placements in year 2017

Placements: This year, our college has been awarded as the best North-Delhi college for placements. Only the students having aggregate more than 60% are allowed to sit for the placements. All the companies which are in demand these days visit our college for placements. Each year, at least 5 students are placed in high-profile companies like HCL, Enforces, etc.

Placements: I am in 3 years and I can't get placed before completing my course, but my seniors got placed in many companies such like HP, Dell, Nissan, Tata Motor, and many more big company and enterprises. Most of the company wants the students with minimum 60 percentage and no back in any of the subject. Some company take the written test in our college, so they can check best of them and offer them in their company. Like any other IPU college.

Placements: The placements offered are decent. Startups, small MNC's, big MNC's, companies with sales or management profiles more or less all of them visit for a placement drive. I passed out in July 2016. The placements in that batch were around 60-70% of the students were placed. The placements of the previous batches were also around 70-80%. According to what I have heard the placements of the current batch are a better enough this time. Hoping for a dark house situation.

Average college, not to good but not too bad

Placements: Placements are decent. Many good companies visit the campus and offer an average package of 4-5 LPA. Companies like Samsung, Infosys, Suplab, Siemens, Nagarro, Sopra Steria, TCS, HP, Ericsson and many more good companies visited the campus. CS and IT companies are more compared to core ECE and EEE. Approximately all my seniors were placed. This year, HODs have changed so we are hoping for better placements. The lowest salary offered was 1.5 LPA and the highest was around 6 LPA.
