Gurukul Management Studies is a private institute established in 2004 under the supervision of Gurukul Educational Trust. The institute is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology. GMS currently has two campus in Salt Lake City, Kolkata.
The institute offers full-time courses in the stream of management . The courses offered are BCA, Bachelor’s of Hospital Management and Bachelor’s of Hotel Management at UG level and MSc in computer science at PG level. The courses are designed to keep pace with globalised scenario and to provide students with quality education at an affordable cost .
Apart from the regular academic classes, the faculty at GMS also focus on personality development programmes , soft skill training and English communication classes. In order to give practical insight to its students, GMS organises various lectures and seminars wherein eminent bankers, corporates, and senior executives from industries are called to provide practical insight.
Gurukul Management Studies provide state-of-the art facilities to its IT and Management students which include spacious classrooms, conference halls, well equipped library, IT resource centres. Apart from these facilities, GMS infrastructure comprises the food and beverage production lab with modern kitchen, bakery and confectionary unit, specialty restaurants, coffee shops, furnished AC deluxe rooms, front office labs and laundry.
