Very good campus. Hostel facility is also very good.
Placements: This course helps us develop good conversation and observation skills for fieldwork in different cultures and communities. If we want to study humans and their culture, this subject is the best because it focuses on human culture and the cultural diversity of different communities.
Infrastructure: The biological anthropology laboratory has a good infrastructure. It has a good number of instruments for osteometry and craniometry. It also has original human skeletal bones and skulls, which are helpful for understanding how a human skeleton looks like.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are highly qualified and experts in their respective branches of anthropology. Their teaching style and behavior are very impressive. They always encourage students and guide them on how to study.
Other: This college is very good for bachelor's degrees.

B.A. (Hons.) in English - Batch of 2023

Really good teachers but overall faculty is okay.
Placements: There are actually no placements for my course B.A. English Honours in this college. The number of students enrolled for this course is around 90 but depends. Our batch had 61 students while the 2nd year batch had around 88 students. Students who want to get internship will be disappointed.
Infrastructure: We do have Wi-Fi in our classroom but sometimes it doesn't work well. We have a library but it is only open 2 days a week. About our hostel, the food is good, canteen is open from 9 am to 9 pm. We have a volleyball ground and also a football field but we don't have any medical facility.
Faculty: Well the teachers are good and cooperative. We also went on excursion with our teachers, organised our farewell parties and various programmes. Look, in this day and age English is the most spoken language in the world so, of course it's relevant. But people underestimate it. My thoughts on this course is that, it has much depth. To understand we need to have a knowledge about psychology, history and mythology in various different texts. The pass percentage is around 40 %. .

This college camping is too good.
Placements: 50% of students were placed in my course. The highest and the lowest average package offered in my course is 50k low, 1L high. Top recruitment companies: NASA. 50% of students got internships from our course and its companies. Top roles offered in managerial posts.
Infrastructure: All facilities available for my course: Wi-Fi available all time, labs room open all time, teachers available, classroom good, teachers also, library is too good, and many more books available there. Hostel quality and facilities are too good, also canteen, medical, sports, game all good.
Faculty: The teachers of my college are well educated. They have M.A. passes, Bachelor’s degrees, etc. The teachers’ teaching quality is very good, and to be honest, they’ll teach well. Nothing difficult is taught. All questions are very easy, and exams are very good. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: This course is very interesting. I chose this course. This course is the best course, not tough, not like any other course. Nothing can improve this course totally. This college has events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, surroundings, school, and extracurricular activities. All are good.

Review of Haldia Government College.
Placements: Students of our course companies don't get placed because don't visit our college to offer placements. Our college principal should arrange a community for placements and internships to give a bright future for students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Few classrooms have smart board facilities with sound systems. There is a common room with a projector and good sound quality. Wi-Fi is not available in our college. Hostel and its food quality are good. Canteen is clean. All types of sports and games are available in our college.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college are very helpful and some are not good. Their teaching quality is very bad. All the semester exams are easy. Students need to study 4 to 5 days before exams. All the students pass the semester exams.
Other: I chose this course for my better future. Teachers should focus on conducting regular classes. All types of scholarships are provided in our course. Freshers' party and fests are organised in our college to make college life enjoyable.

A great place for learning.
Placements: Since most courses offered are UG courses, placement is not a valid question to ask. There are internships in mostly applied fields like Statistics and economics. Students from this college have went to reputed institutions like IIT-K, IISc, TIFR and CU for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The department of Statistics has two computer labs, the campus has central Wi-Fi, hence connectivity is not an issue. Each department has a seminal library and there is one central Library in the college. The college has a playground, common rooms, medical facilities and hostel. The food is of average standard in the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are highly helpful and cooperative. Attending classes regularly is enough to learn the subject. Yes, the curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is 35%. Many programming languages are taught as well in few courses. The Statistics and Chemistry department are superior to others in terms of performance of students in national level competitive exams.
Other: The college holds a fest annually, offers a range of scholarships, holds NCC and NSS, has a playground, common rooms, library, canteen and hostel. However, the market places are a little far from the campus. The department of Statistics is a superb place to be at.

It is the best college for a general degree course.
Placements: It was a general degree college. Many companies were TCS, IBM, etc. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and a very less percentage of students got selected. The top role was programmers from the statistics department. But there was an opportunity for post graduate.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available in this college, and there was also a library with 50,000 books. In our college girls and boys, both hostels were available. The food quality was not good. The canteen was also there, and annual sports were organised by this college.
Faculty: There was a net set of qualified professors in this college. In the geography department, there was a 1:10 students teachers ratio. Quality was good but not every professor was good for teaching. Semester exams were not very much difficult, but students had 75% of marks. The pass percentage was 80%.
Other: Geography was a very good subject, and the subject has a future like students can study in remote sensing and GIS in M.Sc, etc. Scholarships were provided to those who score 60% in higher secondary.
