HIT college life is memorable.

Placements: Placements in this college are average, and around 60-65% of the students got placed. Still, everyone gets placed in IT companies like Infosys and Wipro, irrespective of their stream, so IT companies here are mass recruiters. The average salary package offered is around 3.2 LPA. None of the students gets an internship from the college. Only those students whose family or relatives have some contacts with any company officials get an internship. Without contact, it is very hard even to do industr...

It is an average college, but it is good compared to other private colleges.

Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed every year. The highest package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA. Infosys is the top recruiting company, and there are no core companies for electrical engineering. Almost 50% of students get internships every year, and Wipro and Infosys companies are preferred by most of the students. Roles like software engineer, app developer, and web developer are offered.

It has a good infrastructure, best college life and experience. The fee is very less.

Placements: Placements are fine like in all colleges of WBJEE. All reputed MNCs will visit and hire approximately 70% of the students. This college will provide all-round development, and I suggest you to take admission here.

Our college is good, but I have average hope for its development. However, it is developing.

Placements: B.Tech in food technology is a very interesting course. I am in my 2nd year now, so I don't have an idea about placements, and I interacted with many seniors and professors about it. They said that about 75%-80% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is about 11 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for this course are Adani Wilmar, Nestle, Infosys, etc. Any student can get an internship. About 50%-60% of ...

It has a very good infrastructure.

Placements: Approximately 70% of the students got placed in the last year. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Wipro and Infosys, but Tech Mahindra and Petro Chemical are also recruiting students from our course. Our college doesn't provide any type of internship programme.

Satisfied with my college and the placements of chemical engineering is really very good.

Placements: I'm in the first year as per my knowledge and research, 90% of the students were placed (chemical engineering). 8 lakh was the highest package and the average package was 3.5 - 4 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Berger, Haldia petrochemical, Nestle, Byju's. Since Haldia is a chemical hub in East India most of the students who tried a little got internships. Top roles were R&D, junior supervisor, project associate etc.

Haldia Institute of Technology is a good college for B.Tech degree.

Placements: The university provides average placements. The average salary package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is above 10 LPA. The shaping point of life.

Placements: The placements session starts just after the 6th Semester, although this year it was a bit early. The highest package goes around 12-15lacs pa. Internships are available locally as Haldia is an industrial city. Mass recruiting companies are responsible for a major number of placements.

I will recommend others to join and enjoy here.

Placements: Placements are good in our college, and many companies visit here to offer placements. But software companies offer the maximum salary packages. Students perform their best for placements, and they get recruited based on their performance. Internships are also offered here, and we all focus on that.

Overall, our college is very good. Teachers and management are very helpful.

Placements: The minimum of 85% of the students from CSE, IT and ECE branches have been placed in various companies. But companies don't visit our college for core streams like civil, mechanical and electrical. So, overall, the placement rate is not very bad compared to other private engineering colleges in West Bengal.

Really nice infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement chart is fairly good. The average package ranges from 3-4 Lacs. TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Byjus are the mass recruiters here. However there is a lot of support and exposure for the opportunists here. The top packages have gone as high as 13 - 14 Lacs too.

I am all most dissatisfied because of not getting good food, quality placements, etc.

Placements: An average of 30 to 35% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered ranges from 7 LPA to 8 LPA. Wipro and Infotech are some construction companies that visit our campus. We also have new start-up companies and some marketing companies that mostly visit our college. They are providing lots of offers to students.

Placements and infrastructure are average here.

Placements: I am a 2nd year EE student. I heard from our seniors and faculty members that most of the placements in our college are provided in the IT sector. Some companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc., visit our college for recruitment and offer a salary package ranging from 4 LPA-4.5 LPA. The placement rate is about 50% to 60%, including all branches as these companies recruit students of all branches.
