Placements: Commerce students do get good placements from Hansraj College. Our college also makes great options for UPSC government exams and further studies. Many students end up getting admission in IITs and similar good institutions. I will proceed with doing CA or something similar.
Placements: In the University of Delhi, if we SEE placements, it goes the basket of commerce stream more than any other streams. When it comes to anthropology, it deals much with research works. So there are some placement offers after your Masters only. But you can get placed by adding extra skills to your CV.
Placements: Only a few courses provide placements, like economics honors and B.Com honors. The placement rate is very low, but the highest package is wonderful. Approximately 20 lacs per annum was the highest at any time. If you are in a different course, you can also get placement, but you have to join the placement society.
Placements: Almost zero placement from this course. The rate of placement is quite low but if you are looking for your career in research, then choosing Hansraj will be one of the best decisions of your life. But the placement rate is quite low; specifically from physical sciences, it is zero.
Placements: In Hansraj, there are all kinds of students—poor, wealthy, smart, dumb, physically abled, and even foreign students. There are approximately 7,000 students in Hansraj, but in our BA courses, there's only 50 in each combination each year. When it comes to placement, mostly jobs are only offered to commerce students.
Placements: There are not many placements after Bsc courses, though you can pursue masters in the subjects or maybe compete in government exams to get a good placement and excel in the field. All you need is to study the subject properly and make the most out of your college life.
Placements: The placement cell of Hansraj college is quite active. Renowned companies such as Google, Deloitte, and Zomato recruit from our college. The highest package last year was 24 lakh per annum and the median package was 6-7 lakhs. The number of students placed in English honors was 150 out of 200. The roles offered by companies were of PR, content writer, HR, copywriter, etc.
Placements: I am unaware but placement is generally offered for B.Com courses or Eco Hons courses. For courses like history, generally, internships are offered with government institutions & you are believed to pursue a Master's to land a good job in any field like archaeology/historian. Most students in 1st year opt for history with the aim of government exam preparation and CSE societies of college help with that.
Placements: Haven't really been informed anything regarding placements and qualities regarding the placements, but the college must ensure that the students are somehow enrolled in any sort of productive activities relating to internships and stuff. The package must be good if placements are being offered.
Placements: There are no direct placements for the course of Physics Honours, but after a Master's, there is a possibility of getting placed in the field of research, or you can also get a job teaching Physics in many universities in the country, like JNU, QMU, Allahabad University, etc.
Placements: The students from our course usually pursue Masters for further studies; otherwise, they go into teaching at various academic institutes such as Aakash, Allen, etc. Many students get internships from various other research institutes too. One is required to keep an eye on vacancies at institutes in whatever field they prefer.
Placements: The highest package was 20 LPA. De Shaw, Deloitte, Data Analyst job offers, Data Scientist, Software Developer, and IT Consultant, among others. The average package for Computer Science graduates from Hansraj College is competitive, often ranging between 8 to 15 LPA, with top offers exceeding this range.
Placements: Placement Rate: A substantial portion of the batch, around 70–80%, was placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered was in the range of INR 20–25 LPA. My experience at Hansraj College was incredible and rewarding. The combination of academic rigor, supportive faculty, industry exposure, and vibrant campus life created a holistic learning environment that prepared me well for the future, while there is always room for improvement, especially in areas like practical .
Placements: Our college is specifically famous for B.Com. courses, so almost 50% of students got placed in top companies. If you talk about other courses, the minimum number of students who get placed is approximately 30–40% of the students who get placement in any company. The average package is about 10–12 LPA. The top recruiting companies are BCG, L&T, EY, HCL, Infosys and many more.
Placements: Out of the 81 students in the passing out batch, 15% of them, i.e., 12 students, got placed in recruiting companies such as IBM, Paytm, Bluestone, Brain and Company, and more. Various students (60–70%) got internships in startups and small companies; some got internships in companies such as Microsoft. These companies provided students with hands-on experience with the technology used in real-time in today's industry.
Placements: In my course, the placement is comparatively low because it's a science course. However, in other courses at the college, placements are offered by top companies with high packages. So, the placements are really good here. The minimum package is 5 LPA, I think, and that's the minimum amount.
Placements: There are a total of 70 students in a classroom. Out of which about 50 sit in the interviews for placements. Many companies are called in by the departments for offering jobs to the students. There are no internships offered by department but you can get one on your own or the one's provided by the university.
Placements: 70 percent of students are placed. 5.7 lakh per annum is the average package offered. 40 percent of students got internships. General manager is the top role offered. The average package at our college, mainly in the commerce department, is 4 LPA. Mainly, the recruiting companies are commerce-based. The highest package during my time was 18 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS and Deloitte.
Placements: Only 60-70% of students got placed, with a median of 6 LPA. The highest package was from De Shaw at 21 LPA, and the lowest packages were around 3-4 LPA. The average was 7 LPA. Top companies that came were De Shaw, LEK, ZS, etc. The initial phase rolled out many lucrative offers. The second phase of placements was weak.
Placements: Placement in botany is nearly zero because it requires higher studies to get jobs like M.Sc. and Ph.D. in botany. But the good thing about my college is that getting admission to other higher institutions is easier. Yes, students also get various internships in my course, such as internships in research and publication processes.
