Partially satisfied due to poor placements and small campus.

Placements: The major recruiter is TCS, but 5 to 7 LPA is offered to almost 50 students. The company present in the headquarters in Kolkata offered more packages to the students. The companies like Godrej and Petroleum Industry offered the highest packages. The highest package was 12 LPA. There is a placement cell. The student gets the internship from NJIT and another reputed university.

The review of Heritage Institute of Technology.

Placements: Companies like TCS, Wipro mainly comes here. Moreover, last year Akash Institute also offered the job, and the salary package was Rs. 6 LPA. Almost every year TCS comes to the college. Last year there was the huge selection, In this year they also have a strict interview and selected fewer students.

As honest review of my college as possible.

Placements: Almost 80 percent of ECE students were placed last year in TCS. But for branches other then IT and CSE the placement was poor. Other companies like Capgemini, All state and wipro came but theit placement was between 10 and 15 sutdents. Major IT companies like google, amazon, microsoft, apple has never came to heritage institute of technology.

Learn a lot apart from studies.

Placements: Overall good placement provided by this private institution, average package 4 to 4.5 Lacs and if you choose instrumentation engineering in HITK then it would be your better decision of life because you are going to learn a lot. It is the stream which introduces us with the mechanism of a system, college will always inspire u a lot to move ahead and achieve something u deserve.

Our faculty are the best. The placements are not that good in this year compared to previous years.

Placements: The placements were good. TCS was the first company to come to our campus. They took 323 people, i.e. almost 50% of the college. Wipro also came, but they took only 11 people. ITC, Infotech recruited only 3 people. Many other companies came to the college. Each took 2-3people. Overall 60-65% students are placed as of now. The placements of the senior batch were better. TCS took 80% of the last year students. Overall, last year almost 90% of the students got placed.

Satisfied with the facilities and faculty.

Placements: I was a little bit disappointed with the placements and the companies they bring. All the big IT giants like TCS, Infosys, Wipro visit, and they take 90% of the students. Hardly, 1-2 core companies come, and they place a handful of students. The placements need to improve drastically.

In 2017, the placements are good. The infrastructure, facilities and faculty members are good.

Placements: Almost, 90% of the students got placed last year. Around, 3 to 16 lacs per annum is the salary. The companies like TCS, Microsoft, Philips, etc., visit our college for the placements. Last year, TCS took 510 students from our college. The huge number of students get the internship from our college.

A good college if you are of middle-class and couldn't make it to other reputed colleges.

Placements: The placements are average overall, but considering only West Bengal, it is good. Well, it actually depends on what you expect from the college. The average package for all the streams is same and it is approximately 3-4 lacs pa as mass recruitment. Other development and product based companies also come but I have not seen many seniors getting placed in such companies. Most people (9/10), get that same salary and mostly even get the same company (i.e. TCS), but this is about on-campus as the st...

One can a great college life with hopefully a bright future.

Placements: Most of the placements were in the IT sector. 40% to 50% of the students were placed in the campus selection. The average salary offered was Rs. 4 lakhs PA. There aren't sufficient placements in the core branches. There is a placement cell which arranges for the summer internship. However, only a few of the students get the stipend.

Our college is good, but don't expect something marvellous.

Placements: The placement statistics are average. Most of the mass recruiting companies like Wipro, TCS act as the saviour to almost all branches taking them at 2-4lakh per annum. The difficulties are faced by non-computer related branches, civil and mechanical. For a statistics, approximately only 10-15 students got placed in core companies.

The college is the best, but something to be managed and maintained or should be retained.

Placements: The placement in my college from this year is well enough. So the mass recruiters like TCS, or sometimes Wipro go through the campus and place some of them according to their requirement. Some companies like Tega, TCS, etc. visit the campus this year 2017. For the mechanical guys, the companies like Godrej placed three students in a package of 5.2 LPA. If a student got placed, he or she would not be allowed to sit or even try in the other companies.

The college is autonomous, and almost every facility is available in the college.

Placements: Many companies come here, but the company from IT sector recruit on a very large scale. Most of the students are placed in IT sector. About 90% of total placement are from IT sector. Placement in the core sector is less. The core branches like EE, ME, and CE are also placed in IT sector.

HITK's is among the top 150 ranking colleges in India.

Placements: In the placements of our senior batch, the students were mostly placed in various top MNCs. Here, 85% to 90% students are placed. There, the highest package offered was Rs. 15 Lakhs from the Microsoft and the lowest package offered was Rs. 3.7 Lakhs, while the average package was Rs. Rs. 5 to 6 Lakhs. Many companies that hire students are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and many such MNC's.

The most important thing is that the campus is ragging free. So, it is a nice place.

Placements: I'm from the mechanical department. About, 70% of the student got placed on the campus. The highest package offered was 9 LPA, and the average package is in between 3-4 LPA. Most of the top companies visit the campus to hire. Some of them are Infosys, TCS, Microsoft. The placement cell is good. But the less package is offered by the companies. The college gives the opportunity to most of the students.

Good placements in 2016, respectable infrastructure, quality faculty in ECE department.

Placements: HIT, Kolkata is known for completing 100% placement of its batches. Majority of batch gets placed in IT roles offered by organizations such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, ITC Infotech, Capgemini etc. Over the last few years TCS has been taking the zero slot and recruiting most of the batch. For the batch of 2016, they recruited 500+ students in the initial slot. For the core departments (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) some core companies do visit campus. With the institute gaining autonomy a ...

The college has good infrastructure, faculty members and curriculum.

Placements: From last few years, Tata consulting services is coming to our college as a mass recruiter and took more than 50% of the candidates. The rest students were also placed in many other companies ( both IT companies and non-IT companies). Thus our college ensures almost 99% placements. Some of the students secure more than one job. This year also TCS took 350+ students and now phase 2 of campus drive is going on. In phase 2 companies like Wipro, Saint Gobain, etc. are visiting our college.

Satisfied with the college as it is a good college.

Placements: The placement scenario in Heritage is quite good. Here mostly IT companies come like TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc., and they do mass recruitment here. However, the placement cell of our college hardly manages to bring the core companies in the college, but some of the core companies come like Tech Mahindra, Godrej etc. The previous batches were the luckiest because many companies visited the campus that time, even Microsoft visited the Heritage campus, and a student was offered 16 LPA, which is the h...

Infrastructure and the library is good. If you know whom to learn from, you will learn a lot.

Placements: Most of the students were placed in TCS with an average package of 3.6 LPA. Some got into companies like IOCL and HPCL through GATE. Lots of other companies visited campus and roles were of technical assistant. All students, except those who got an internship through personal sources, got an internship from the college.

Dissatisfied because of faculty and placement records. You can enjoy a lot here.

Placements: The placements in case of core companies is always a problem for any college. Talking of my college, its placement is 60% average, but it varies year by year depending on the talent of students, and one of the important problems is that many mechanical students got placement mainly in TCS which is not a core company. So, only some talented students got placement in Infosys, Godrej or maybe no one got placement in these companies. So, mainly placement is in TCS of about 3.4 lacs per annum.

The Heritage institute of technology (HITK) at a glance.

Placements: The placements are better in comparison to the other colleges in West Bengal and Odisha. Approximately or more than 80% of the students get placements every year. The various companies visit and offer the packages to the talented. For more records check the placements section in heritage.edu.in.
