On a scale of 1 to 10, I give 8. Except for a few things, it is the best.

Placements: The placements are pretty good for IT/CSE/Instrumental streams whereas for other core branches, you have to wait long enough to be placed. Around 80-85%placements occurred. The highest salary was around 12 lakhs and the lowest was 3.2 lakhs. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Indian navy, Aakash, Kriti technologies, Bosch, Godrej and Boyce have visited till now for the year 2017. IT engineer, Assistant Manager, Assistant Professor etc posts were offered. I have no idea about internships. ...

Record placement of Heritage Institute of Technology

Placements: The major placement from Heritage irrespective of your branch is done in the IT sector and TCS is the major recruiter in the past couple of years. The placement rate is really good in terms of a number of students getting placed. The training and placement cell works really hard to get most of the students secure a placement. If the students study well and also take part in the extracurricular activities in the college, then there is a high probability that they will secure a placement. The coll...

A good college for ECE,CSE and IT, but average for other core branches such as ME.

Placements: The average salary package offered is 3.35 lacs per annum. Lots of students are placed in the IT sector companies and nearly 35 % in the core companies. Last year, it was the 86% among the students who got placed in various companies. The companies which come regularly for placements to mechanical are Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Godrej, Tech Mahindra, FusionCharts, Kirti Technologies, Kiswok Pvt Limited, Triveni Turbine Ltd etc.

When I joined Heritage, the first batch had not graduated out of the college but there was a lot of enthusiasm with this one. It was already ranked 2nd in private colleges after IEM and we heard promising stories about its placements. It had great infrastructure and facilities, especially the labs. It had a huge soccer ground where I spent most of my time and it was located at the outskirts of the city.

It’s one of the best private engineering colleges in Kolkata and has recently changed to a university, thus no longer falling under the reign of WBUT. Going by infrastructure, be it any kind- library, labs, classrooms, sports, hostels, canteens, etc., Heritage can be considered to have the best campus in the city. A myriad of courses are available and the placement scenario, which consisted mostly of companies like Infosys, Wipro and TCS has also improved since the last 2 years as many core comp...

Heritage is one of the most renowned college under WBJEE and also one the finest private college in Eastern India. Although the college is relatively new (from renowned colleges for engineering in India) but the faculty members here are experienced and helpful. The buildings are very beautiful and along with studies you get lot other facilities like sports and other cultural activities.

B.Tech Grad of 2013 Batch. Among the top engineering colleges in West Bengal. Big and beautiful campus. Decent faculty members with some extra ordinary teachers on the high side and some not at all good teachers being the down side. Ample opportunities for extra-curricular activities. Cultural fest among the best in the city. Decent placements with common IT companies coming to the campus.

HIT was the 2nd best private college in west Bengal when I took admission in 2010. College campus is pretty good. Very disciplined, compared to most colleges in west Bengal. Faculty is pretty decent. A good thing about the college is that it houses many curricular activities. One aspect that can and should be improved is placements. More companies should come for placements. Although mass recruitment numbers are not bad. Campus life is good. Infrastructure is very good. Library can be improved. ...

There are lot of companies coming for recruitment every year like Infosys, British oxygen corporation, techno electric engineering company, microsoft, sap lab, simplex, paharpur cooling tower, capegemini, cognigent, wipro, and many more. Heritage has a record of about 90% placement. There is also a g...

College is just awesome but the authority should understand the problem of students and help them. Overall, it is good to be here. Teachers should understand the problem of students who are outside from Bengal. But here teacher just teach in Bengali which many students don’t understand. These things needs improvement.

Good- most of the departments are good and the training & placement cell is very efficient. Lots of companies come for campus recruitment which is beneficial for students. Bad- the IT department faculty is not up to the mark and there's hardly any visiting faculty or people from industry visiting the campus

Infrastructure is good, compared to the other private colleges of West Bengal. Faculty has a blend of good, average and really bad people. You can get good books from the library and average to above average food in cheap price in the canteen. There is a not so cheap store serving your educational accessories and a Xerox centre beside it. Placement of ECE and CSE is great but only software companies. If you are studying in West Bengal, I'll recommend you to study here after JU, IIEST and IEM.

The college has Good infrastructure (largest among private colleges in west Bengal), best faculty team, well maintained labs and a large library with huge collection of books. Most important thing about this college is that it is ragging free. Most supportive and friendly seniors. One can enjoy cheap and healthier food in the cafeteria with approx. 200 sitting capacity located within campus itself. I think it is one of the reputed institutions of West Bengal.

My college campus and placement is very good, as compared to other colleges. This college is the 2nd top college in West Bengal after I.E.M- Kolkata. ECE is the best department in this college and placement is about 90%. Campus life is just like IITs and NITs but only difference is that this is a private college under WBUT.

It has a nice infrastructure, autonomous college having good faculty and library and placements. Hostel facility is fine, bigger canteen and play ground and auditorium for cultural growth. Student and teacher relationship is very good, which can improve your skills and help in development of students. Labs are having air conditioned facility and also it is attached with NJIT.

It has a good infrastructure. It also provides guaranteed placement as they provide you with many opportunities which are not provided in other private companies. It is enriched with good environment as well.

They have so many core streams like ECE, AEIE, CIVIL,EE,ME and every year they are increasing the intake ,but they are unable to provide core placements. Companies like Infy, TCS and Wipro will come and will take 200-300 students and they will show 90-100 % placement. If you want to take admission in Heritage, select Chem or CSE as branch and try for GATE from 2nd year. College campus is one of the best in West Bengal, canteen is also good. There is no ragging.

It is a nice college for engineering. It is situated in Kolkata, near Chowbhaga. Previously it was under West Bengal University of Technology, but in this year it has gained an autonomous title. I think Computer Science faculty is best in this college. Besides daily hard-core study sessions and classes Heritage offers you with many sport events both indoor and outdoor. College fest also happens during the month of April. As far as the placement statistics are concerned for this college the main ...

Disappointed with the lack of fests & sports activities in college; placement scenario is average.

Placements: Total percentage of students placed in the CSBS department is approximately 70%. The highest package is around 16 LPA, and the lowest package is 3-3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies in my course include IBM, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, ITC Infotech, etc. I think around 40-60% of students got internships in my course, with companies visiting my college for internships including ACC Ltd, RR Omerbhoy, Wipro, Infosys, and IBM.
