Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT, Kolkata) is good environment for the students.

Placements: The placement in the year 2017 was up to the mark. Almost 500 of the students got placed in the first round of campus placement. The placement was really good in my department, i.e. computer science and engineering. Almost 70-75% of the students got placed. The average salary offered was almost 4.5 lacs per annum.

Really good faculty and well improved training & placement cell which helps students periodically

Placements: Good placement result. The students interested in programming got placement in TCS and Infosys. Every student got a chance for internship on recommendation of the college. Civil students were also placed in L&T, Mahindra and Mahindra, etc. The average package is 2.4 lacs. For students who never study, surely, placement will be very difficult. The students were mainly offered a junior engineering role in companies.

The best place for the overall development of a student with the practical experience.

Placements: In my college, there is a rule for placement that once you get a job, you cannot sit for the interviews of other companies. The average package offered is 3.2 lpa. The maximum package offered is 16 lpa. Many students also get a package of 6.5 lpa. The list of companies is big concerning other private colleges in Kolkata. Some of the recruiters are TCS, Godrej, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, L&T, HCL, Aakash Institute, etc.

Best engineering college in East India

Placements: Placements were scheduled to begin from the 18th of October for our batch. Almost everyone got placed in our college in the last few years( most of them in TCS). Indian Navy, Godrej Interio, and Vikram Solar are the other companies which recruit a handful of students from our campus. This year, we expect that most of our batchmates will get placed in companies of good repute with a decent pay.

Review of Heritage Institute of Technology

Placements: Placements are good enough with a number of mass recruiters coming in the zero slot of the placement season and offering entry-level roles to the students. Core companies also offer good roles but the number of core companies visiting the campus is very low. In my batch, 80% of the students were placed in the companies attending the zero slot. The slot was shared by Infosys and Wipro while other companies like Capgemini and Polaris also offered jobs in numbers. ...

Life at Heritage Institute of Technology

Placements: There has been a decent placement history when compared to the rest of private colleges in West Bengal. TCS is the main recruiter, offering jobs to the students of almost all the branches. Placement in core companies is rare, although some students do get placed in companies like Polaris and some other core companies. Other IT firms like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc. regularly visit the institute. The placement is mostly limited to 1 job per candidate. Last year, 504 students were placed in TCS wit...
