It is a very good college with really good quality of studying.
Placements: 80% is the percentage of students who are placed in our course. The highest, average and lowest package offered in our college is sixty thousand. We have good medical colleges and good big hospital. Hundred percentage of pur students got internship from our course.
Infrastructure: We have a very good classroom with speakers. We have a very fast Wi-Fi connection. We have a very clean and well-maintained laboratory. We have a very large library with all the necessary books available. The hostel is clean and we'll maintain and the food quality is average.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. Teachers are well-qualified and very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are very strict. But they provide good quality of education so The pass percentage is 80 to 90 percent.
Other: My aim was to be a doctor. Everything is good.

A good college with a need of some improvements.
Placements: About 75-80% of students make it through to get jobs at various clinics and hospitals. The packages offered to vary with the level of experience concerning patient exposure and career marking. Usually, there is no such kind of placements but students apply for different hospitals and clinics with their resume. The top role after passing out is that of a dental surgeon with a multi-specialty approach. MS passed out to get a big share with their respective fields post-graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are at par with the guidelines of the Dental Council of India and are taking adequate care of through periodic inspections. The latest technological instruments are being procured for coping with the curriculum. All labs of various departments are well-equipped, and the
library has a full stock of the latest books and reputed journals for up-to-date information. All lecture halls are equipped with multimedia projector systems for integrative study. Hostels are average and the canteen food is variable at times from average to good. Sports and games facilities are available at both indoor and outdoor facilities and an annual sports fest is also being organized every year for encouragement.
Faculty: Most teachers are highly qualified and have years of experience in their respective fields of expertise. Teaching quality is quite good and even a little better than government establishments. Course curriculum as prescribed by DCI has become outdated over time and needs to be revised. Bridge and integrated courses should be introduced to make full-fledged dentists ready. The semester exams are of good level and moderate in difficulty level. The pass percentage is 80 on average.
Other: I choose this course cause I always had a strong incline to serve people's lives by rating their ailments and the best part is this course gives me the ability to change someone's life in terms of being healthy, ailment free, and boost his confidence in the society. The course needs to be updated and an integrated curriculum must be introduced to damage the dental health professionals with the general MBBS fraternity instead a combined workforce must be incorporated to fulfill the need of the present. The college organizes a lot of competitions, annual fest, conference visits, health check-up camps, etc., The college supports students for national competitions and research work. Campus life is quite healthy with a positive environment.

Solid clinical training
.
Placements: As a student of Hi-teach dental College and Hospital, I will get chance to gain solid clinical experience especially in the clinical and pre clinical posting during 3rd and 4th year. The college also offers a one year outing internship. While the college does a great job preparing us with practical skills the placement opportunities are limited only a few students get job directly with the package around Rs20,000 per month but these offers are rare. Most of the students end up pursuing private practice or higher education like MS instead of Relying on campus recruitment. The focus is definitely on hands-on learning, but I believe more external internships are stronger placements and stronger placements support would greatly improve the experience.
Infrastructure: The college offers solid facilities that supports are education. Three classrooms are well-equipped and the labs have modern tools that make practical postings effective. Wi-Fi is accessible across the campus, all though it is a bit slow sometimes. Then the library has a good collection of text books and journals for all the dental as well as medical subjects which are really helpful for studying. Three hostel and the mess facilities are manageable, but not as great as some might expect. The rooms and decent, but they could use better maintenance and the food can get respective. On a positive the medical facilities are excellent we get a special student discount for checkups at the affiliated Hospital. When it comes to sports the facilities are fantastic. We have to 2 cricket grounds, a Basketball court and a Badminton court which provides plenty of options for staying active and having fun.
Faculty: The teachers at the our college are quite helpful and knowledgeable. They genuinely want us to succeed and I always ready to clarify doubts or provide extra support during your clinical or pre clinical postings. The teaching quality is good overall most facilities engage us well and use effective methods to explain the concepts. The course curriculum is relevant and well structured which help us feel more prepared for the industry. It balance theoretical knowledge with the practical skills making it easier for us. However the semester exams are pretty challenging as the college is under Odisha University of health sciences now. It required solid preparation and we often find them tough, for the pass percentage; it's decent.
Other: The BDS programme at my college offers hand-on clinical experience and supportive a faculty members that give us more knowledge about the practical things. The sense of community is strong, which helps to create a positive environment for students. One of the highlights of our college is our annual fest called as "CUSP", which features DJ nights, competitions and cultural programs. ItTut is honesty the best part of the whole college life the whole year.

Absolutely satisfied with the way the faculty members are teaching.
Placements: In BDS there is very low chances to get placed in government hospitals, but you have to clear your opsc exam and college has no role at this stage. Privately you can open clinic etc. In order to earn. If you are perfect with practical work then you have better chances to get placed in private hospitals etc.
Infrastructure: College and hostel buildings are great. Free Wi-Fi is available in whole campus. A central library is also here in side college campus, smart class room are also here, projector are generally used for study purpose. There is a lot of chances for sports and games. You can play cricket, football, basketball etc. In Odisha cricket association ground, which is present inside the campus. Food quality is somehow poor. But you can manage it.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and caring. They are always ready to help you at any moment when you need their help. They are highly qualified and their teaching skill is great. Exam is somehow tough. You have to study harder to score good marks in examination and pass percentage is above 70%.
Other: I always wanted to be a doctor. But I was unable to score greater in NEET so I was unable to get a seat in government college. So I prefer BDS. In BDS your profession is same as a physician but you have less chances of life risk here. You can enjoy your study to the full. Yearly CUSP (annual function) is taking place. During this time every one should enjoy in the college campus.

It is a great college to study in if you want to be a doctor.
Placements: Our college provides internships for 6 months after passing the final university examinations. In that internship, newly qualified doctors have to go through 9 different departments on a rotational basis. The stipend offered was Rs. 6,000 per month. After that, you can also apply for government jobs.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good and close to the college, but the mess is a bit far. So, we have to walk to mess for every meal. It gives food four times a day, but the food quality is not that good. BDS canteen is the same as that of pharmacy and physiotherapy canteen.
Faculty: The course structure is good, and there is plenty of scope for research being a dental college. Practicals and exams have always been hectic, but there is always a sense of satisfaction if you like the subject. Overall, faculty members are very strict, but they are supportive. Some of them are very friendly, kind and understanding. They are always helpful and guide us everywhere.
Other: It is the best college in Odisha for dental studies. It comes under Utkal University.

Absolutely satisfied with campus, faculty, infrastructure, etc.
Placements: After completing BDS degree many students prefer their own clinic or studying PG. Some of them also recruited in this hospital also. College also achieving gold medals from Utkal University Odisha for better results since 4 or more years. Our college is competing SCB in results.
Infrastructure: Network facilities are quite good. Free Wi-Fi is available in the whole campus. Labs and Classrooms are nice. Food is not bad but many students prefer food from outside. Except food ,all other facilities are nice. Lab, Library, classrooms are quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful. Teaching quality is very nice. They are always ready to give their best to students. Exam papers are somehow tough. Passing average is above 80%. Students have to study hard. Without hardwork nothing is possible so, all the students perform their best in annual examinations.
Other: College encourages students for many extracurricular activities such as cricket, football, dancing, singing and many more. Yearly function is quite nice. You will feel the heaven here during these days.
