Odisha NEET PG Counselling 2024 is being conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Odisha for the academic year 2024-25. The Odisha NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round 3 registration was conducted from January 19, 2025, 10 AM, to January 22, 2025, 11.59 PM. The verification of original documents was done on January 23, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM, at Kalam Auditorium, VIMSAR, Burla.Â
The Odisha NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round 3 physical counselling will be conducted from February 5 to February 6, 2025. The institute reporting process will be conducted from February 7 to February 9, 2025.
The Odisha NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round 1 and Round 2 seats resignation last date was extended from January 25 to January 26, 2025, to January 27 to January 28, 2025, from 11 AM to 3 PM, each day.Â
DMET Odisha released provisional verification status on January 25, 2025. The rest of the dates such as the choice filling, release of seat matrix, merit list and seat allotment result will be announced in due course of time. Candidates could submit grievances by January 28, 2025, 12 noon with supportive evidence to the mail id opgmedical2024@gmail.com.

There will be around three to four rounds of Odisha NEET PG counselling which will be conducted in online mode. Only the last step of the counselling, which is the institute reporting, is conducted in offline mode, wherein candidates will have to visit the allotted institutes.
Candidates have to apply online for the seat allotment process. Those who qualified for NEET PG with the minimum cutoff will be eligible to participate in the counselling for seat allotment. Eligibility Criteria for Odisha PG Medical Admission
Candidates need to fulfill certain eligibility requirements for Odisha PG Medical Admission. Some of the eligibility criteria for Odisha NEET PG counselling are as follows:
- Domicile: A candidate either be a permanent resident of Odisha. If an outsider, he/she must have passed MBBS from any Government Medical College of the state
- Qualification: Must have a valid MBBS or BDS degree from a recognised medical college.
- Registration: Candidates must have registered himself/ herself under the State/ Central Council of Medical Registration
- Minimum marks: Must have scored the NEET PG cutoff marks
- Internship: Candidates have to complete the mandatory one-year Internship within the stipulated date.
Odihsa NEET PG Counselling: The Process
Odisha NEET PG seat allotment includes registration, submission of application form, document verification, release of merit list, and counselling. Odihsa NEET PG Application Form
Odisha NEET PG application form will be released online for counselling. Candidates will have to register and fill details in the application form for Odisha PG medical admission. The application form includes personal & academic details, NEET PG score and rank. Paying a fee is mandatory to submit an application for Odisha NEET PG Counselling. Candidates have to pay INR 2500 non-refundable application fee for counselling. The application fee has to be paid in online mode through net banking, credit card or UPI. The payment receipt has to be submitted during document verification.
Odihsa NEET PG Counselling: Merit list
The Odisha PG medical merit list will be released after the document verification process. Only those candidates are included in the merit list who apply successfully and fulfil eligibility criteria. The merit list comprises details such as name, date of birth, category, NEET PG score and All India Rank. Only shortlisted candidates on the merit list are eligible to declare choices for seat allotment.
