Placements: Hindu is known to provide better placement opportunities for B.Com. and B.Sc. state courses. My course was Chemistry so not many companies offer jobs to B.Sc. Chemistry students. But if one wants to sit for placement, they can with a good CV. Some of my seniors got placed in very good companies with chemistry as their subject.
Placements: The placement rate at Hindu College is about 70%, with 80% of students getting placed. The highest salary offered was 24 LPA, while the average was 8-10 LPA. Top companies that hire from the college include BCG, Bain, EY, Deloitte, and D.E. Shaw. A handful of students get internships at big companies like Goldman Sachs. Top roles include research analyst and investment research.
Placements: Approximately 60% of Eco Hons. students got placed, while the remaining 40% includes students who wanted to pursue higher education or prepare for government exams. The highest, lowest, and average package offered for our course were 23 LPA, 5-6 LPA, and 9.5 LPA, respectively. Top recruiting companies included Deloitte, Bain & Company, DE Shaw, ZS Associates, and Barclays. Approximately 40% of students secured internships, mainly at Wells Fargo, DE Shaw, and Gartner. Top roles offered for our co...
Placements: In my batch, there were 101 students. Talking about placement, I will keep it in a poor category but else other things were good. There is a society called Disha placement cell. They provide you with the placements but I don't have much idea about their working.
Placements: The placements cell, comprising the brightest students, secures the best internships and placements. The average placement package is 9 lakhs per annum, with offers going up to 30-40 lakhs per annum. Companies visit the college for campus placements, and recruitment starts in the 5th semester for 3rd-year students.
Placements: Placement in Hindu College is quite good. The median placement is 10 LPA, and the mean package is 12 LPA. The department that gets the maximum placement is the Commerce and Economics department. Other departments also get placements, but they need extracurricular activities on their CVs.
Placements: In English Honours, there is a very low placements rate. However, due to the placements cell of the college, editorial groups bring in offers to hire freshers. Only 1-2 percent students get internships this way. The others find internships on their own. The top roles offered in my course are that of editor, journalist, content writer, novelist, writer, professor, researcher, etc.
Placements: The placement facility for my course is good but not sufficient, as we had average placement opportunities with a low percentage of students. We have to go to the company ourselves, approaching for jobs in internships. Most students do not get placements in their core subjects.
Placements: The department of English at Hindu College does not offer a campus placement drive itself. However, you can register with the Placement Cell of the college, where a one-time payment might be required (a small amount). Moreover, any interview in which you appear gives you priority, as the college's name holds a lot for you. Most of the companies will be impressed by the alma mater, which will be a plus during your interview and induction. Though many of the students in our batch opted for further...
Placements: The average package offered by the college is about 6LPA. Companies like Unacademy and Physics Wallah offer internships to students, generally from the commerce department. The percentage of students getting internships is about 50%. As such, my course doesn't offer a lot of internships.
Placements: In our course, there are basically no placements but I can say if you want to enjoy college life and learn new things instead of staying at home, you can take admission in our course. There is also scope in our course if you do further studies like M.Sc. Or Ph.D.
Placements: Placements in this course are quite low as this is not an honors degree and the highest placement was 11 LPA, the lowest was about 2–3 LPA, and the average placement was 5 LPA. Top companies include HCL, etc. About 50% of students get internships, but mostly the students come here for UPSC preparations.
Placements: We have a very good campus selection with an average package of 15 Lacs. More than 70 companies visit and gave more than 120 offers. With 100 percent placement I want to go with a good company. American express, Deloitte, amazon, JP morgan, accenture etc. Are among top recruiting companies.
Placements: Our college does not provide many placements for B.Sc students because it is a scientific subject. Many students go for their higher studies. Some students get government jobs. The placement rate is high in courses like commerce, economics, statistics, etc.
Infrastructure: The boys' hostel is under renovation. The infrastructure of the girls' hostel is quite good. All facilities are very good. All hostels are on our campus. Students can access everything from the hostel. It is a good place to stay.
Placements: About 5% of students got placed. Students got placed only at Tata Electronics. Only one company came for the placements. Unpaid internships were provided by the college. About 10% of students did internships. Overall, students didn't come here for placements. The exposure we got from being at DU was exceptional.
Placements: Our college administration provides placements every year through the placement cell called Odisha. They often conduct seminars and workshops on career-related topics. Numerous companies have been actively participating in placement programs over the past few years, including Google, HDFC, KPMG, Maruti, etc.
Placements: The average placement rate was 75%. Top companies came and interviewed candidates. The highest package was 17 LPA by a student in B.Com (Hons). The top companies include Google, Facebook, Accenture among others. My course is not into the placement venture.
Placements: As a student of hindu college I have observed that most of Chemistry students go for Masters and Ph.D. not for placement but on the other hand the students of B.Com honours and Statistics honours, economic honours go for placement. The average salary is 4 to 5 lac per annum and the highest is 28 Lacs this year.
Placements: B.Sc. Mathematics students get few placements. Students get placed in any of the startups or small financial institutions as trainees or lower grades with a salary of more than Rs.20,000 per month. I recommend students do a master's after graduation as it has good value.
