Unforgettable life experience.
Placements: Most of the graduates from our college are currently employed in top companies in Chennai. They have maintained a strong connection with the college management even after graduation. Our management organizes an alumni meet once a year to enhance networking opportunities.
Infrastructure: Students are provided with individual usernames and passwords to access free internet services. For their security, surveillance cameras are installed throughout the college campus. In the hostel, there is a large laundry area for eating and relaxing.
Faculty: The Master of Social Work is a full-time, two-year program. The curriculum may change according to regulations, but it typically consists of four semesters, along with regular tests and exams. While grades and marks are important, this course also provides valuable practical experience that prepares us for real-life situations.

Good support system and infrastructure.
Placements: Internships are mandatory with two terms of internships including a summer and a winter internship. The average placements rate for all the specializations ranges somewhere between 65 to 80%. Roles like child welfare, mental health, etc. are offered by the recruiters.
Infrastructure: The hostel typically has basic rooms where a mattress is provided along with meals being available in the canteen. There are a few medical health facilities available in the college. We have laboratories along with a dedicated library which is well-stocked in the department.
Faculty: The curriculum provides various specialization options that one can choose from including Medical & Psychiatric Social work and community development. The exams are not very difficult and mostly the students pass. The faculty members are quite helpful and approachable.

Placements rate is good, faculty members are qualified.
Placements: The specific roles that are generally offered depend upon the specialization such as social worker, counselor, and policy analyst. Jobs in fields like child welfare, mental health, etc. are offered. The placements rate generally range between sixty to seventy percent.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are accommodated with a living space and a laundry service which you need to pay extra for in order to use. There is medical help and a few sports available for the students. The mess food is available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. The classrooms and tge department has a good infrastructure.
Faculty: The exams are a bit easy with the passing rate being more than ninety percent and the attendance and internal marks are the components part of the final score. The faculty members are good, they try to be there to help you throughout. The curriculum is very nice covering all the topics necessary.

Overall, a great place for learning.
Placements: The placements rate is not as good as that for the Science students but on an average around fifty percent students do get placed from my course. The college has a few tie-ups and partnership kind of relationships with a few NGOs and social service organizations that offer both internships and placements to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite friendly and beautifully constructed including classrooms, administrative blocks, and a hostel. Along with that, we have an area where we can play a few games like badminton and tennis. The library is filled with quite a good bunch of resources.
Faculty: The faculty members are a blend of experienced practical trainers guiding us with everything. We also have a few scholars and rotary platform tie-ups where we learn a few things directly by collaborating with them. The curriculum structure is focused on theories along with a few writing and practicing skills.

MSW is good in this college.
Placements: In our college, the placement is good and the companies are TCS and Infosys. The package was also nice, as it was 6 lacs rupees for the highest package and 4 lacs for the lowest package, therefore making the placement percentage 80%. The college is good in terms of placements.
Infrastructure: The wi-fi connectivity in the college is throughout the campus and there are different types of labs and other facilities available to carry out the practical training classes for all the students on the campus and from all types of courses as well.
Faculty: The college has a team of good and experienced faculty members who work tirelessly to give us good and practical knowledge. Also, the course curriculum is relevant to the industry and makes the students industry-ready, and the exams are not really that difficult.

Placements did not go quite well.
Placements: Quite disheartened with the placements as there is no proper guidance and the rate is slow this year. Only fifty of the students from our batch got placed and the college is not concerned about the rest of the students. For internships, there was a better opportunity with around 80% students getting through.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice and is also well-maintained with mostly providing clean washrooms and classroom facilities. We have different blocks in our hostel. There is a common canteen where good food is provided for the students.
Faculty: The curriculum is good. Along with the theories, we have also been trained to work with our writing ability and to write reports on events or workshops conducted. There are a few specialization options available that the students can choose from.
