Placements: In civil engineering, around 50% of students were placed for the session 2023-24. Core companies like ITDC, GKW Consult, LASA, SMS India, and TCE have recruited from this department. Non-core companies such as ICICI Bank and PwC are also involved. Internships are provided by the department in various government and non-government sectors, primarily involved in civil and construction practices.

Placements: After the 2nd semester, you are eligible for an internship based on your skills. After the 4th, you may receive pre-placement offers if you deserve them. Official placement starts in the 3rd year. Generally, all big companies visit, such as Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Uber, Flipkart, etc. On average, 80 to 90 percent of students get placed with an average package of approximately 8 lakhs. I also prepare for college placements because they are very good.

Placements: Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology, Shibpur. They have very good placements; up to 93% of people are placed in the college. The highest package is 88 lacs, the lowest is 8 lakh, and the average package is 20 lacs per annum. The top recruiters are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and PWC.

Last year, 64% of students were placed in Civil Engineering, which seems less, but usually, many students opt for government jobs such as UPSC CSE, Central Civil Services, State Civil Services, GATE, and higher studies. Placements: Approximately 80 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 80 LPA by Atlassian and the average package is approximately 9 to 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are PWC, Tata Steel, Texas Instruments, JSW, Well Fargo, BNY Mellon, Ericsson, and Accenture. Internships are done by all of the students, including paid and unpaid internships. Companies for internships are Microsoft, PWC, Accenture, Tata Steel, Texas Instruments, Wells Fargo, and BNY Mellon.

Placements: When we talk about placement in IIEST, it is actually a very nice thing to talk about. Almost every student from the college grabs placement with an average package of 10–11 LPA, whereas when we talk about the mining engineering department, it has a 100% placement record from the college campus.

Placements: Placement in this college is average, with almost 45% placement this year; the highest package was 11.4 Lacs and the lowest was 3 Lacs. ICICI bank, JSW Cement, ITD cementation, EEL, PWC, etc. I came for internship and placement, both. Engineers, trainees, consultants, managers, etc. job roles were provided.

Placements: 70–75% students are placed. The highest package is 18 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA from my college. L&T and PPEL are the top companies that recruit more students from our college. 60–70% of students got internships by college and the rest got internships by offline method.

Placements: I'm still in my early years at IIEST, Shibpur studying Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, but I have heard great things about our placements. Apparently, most students from recent batches got placed. Some landed really high packages (up to 45 LPA). Different companies like Microsoft, Texas Instruments, and Tata offer placements here and internship opportunities are high.

Placements: 95% of students are placed in our course. The average salary is around Rs 20 lakh per year. The highest package in our course is approximately 55 lacs per annum. Google, Microsoft, and TCS are the top recruiters. A software engineer or web developer is the top role offered in our course.

Also, many students get internships during their 5th semester and many also get PPOs directly after their tier internship.

Placements: Approximately 80 percent of the students are placed from our department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and the average salary of our department is 16 LPA and multinational that hire us are Google, Microsoft, Texas, HP etc.

Basically, SDE, data analyst, and consultant roles are given to the placed students.
