Perpetual increment in placements.

Placements: Placements is the key regarding this institute. For IT average placements would be around 12 LPA and for ECE courses average would be around 10 LPA. Many blue chip companies like goldman sachs, morgan stanley and citi bank visit campus and have their workshop at second year itself. And also alumni base is real strong here.

Absolutely satisfied with my placements. i.e. 2017 passout batch.

Placements: There are very good placements if you do coding well but it is not preferable for research. The main focus is on placements. If you are interested in coding and placements, please choose this college. Almost above 90% got placed in around 120 companies which visited the campus for placements. The highest placement was in Google and the lowest placement was in TCS.

Good placements - Good student culture - Average faculty.

Placements: The percentage of students placed was almost 100%. The average salary was about 12-13 lacs while the highest went up to 30-35 lacs. The placement scenario is all in all good. More than 50 of students got a placement of more than 5 lacs. A high amount of students is offered an internship in their third year. They give more or less the same stipend at about 40-50,000 per month from what I have heard.

IIIT-Allahabad is the best college for those who are interested in programming and new technology. Here, we have many opportunities to learn new technology and meet someone who did very well in his life. Programming culture is better than any college here. Academics is one of the best things at IIIT-A. The faculty here is not comparable to that of IITs and old NITs as the college is new and still growing, but still we have active, engaging and motivating teachers. The library is there with ampl...

College placements and facilities are awesome. Though Allahabad as a city is not that good from outside, inside the campus life is completely different. Hostels are too good. Food is not good, though. Good placement for almost all branches of IT, it was little tough for core bioinformatics. M-tech students help a lot during exams also during labs. If you are genuinely interested in research best place to do your research, staff is supportive. But administration pathetic once, now they are up to ...

It is one of the best colleges in India to pursue IT/CS courses. The placement record is average, being around 7-9 lakh P.A. It has a good competitive culture. Moreover, one is completely free to choose their own projects and they are not enforced by the professors. The only drawback is that it is not located in a metro city.
