JEE Main exam dates for BTech programme for admission to IIIT Bhopal is scheduled on Jan 24, which is tentative. As per the exam pattern of JEE Mains, the exam is conducted online as a Computer Based Test. JEE Main 2024 will have three papers, Paper 1 for admission to BE/BTech course, Paper 2A for BArch admission and Paper 2B for BPlan course admission. The duration of the JEE Main exam is three hours and has Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 will have a total of 90 questions while Paper 2A and 2B have 82 and 105 questions respectively.

Good placements and sports activities in Manit.

Placements: Very good placements. Almost 98% of students got placed with the highest package of 38 lacs per annum, the average package of 18 lacs per annum, and the median package of 15 lacs per annum. I will recommend this college because placements are really good. Join the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhopal.

Infrastructure: Average hostel. Hostels are located far from the colleges, as our college lies in Maulana Azad National Institute of Information Technology Bhopal, or Manit Bhopal. My hostel, which is located 15 km away from IIIT Bhopal, is in RGPV. It is a great hostel with average food, fully vegetarian. Sports facilities are good. Talking about our college labs, they are really good. Wi-Fi speed is a little low. Library is an issue.

Faculty: Professors are really helpful and qualified. Everyone has a Ph.D. in their subjects. The quality of teaching is very good. The course is very relevant, and it does make students industry ready. Semester exam is easy. CGPA is relative. It is easy to score in the exams.

Decent college but not value for money if you don't have a scholarship. Placements are decent.

Placements: The intake for each branch on average is about 130-160 students. Most of the professors are from MANIT Bhopal, and also some of the professors are from foreign universities. All the top companies have visited the college for recruitment in the past years. In this year, i.e., 2024, Atlassian has also recruited students, offering a package of around 85 LPA. It also visited the same campus in 2022.

Infrastructure: As the college does not have its own campus, the boys are accommodated in three hostels: RGPV, BHEL, and NITTR in Bhopal, and girls are in another government girls' hostel. The mess food is the worst (worse than you can think). The hygiene is also average. Also, the hostel is around 15 km away from the college.

Faculty: Faculty is good. The exam difficulty is moderate. Coding culture is awesome, placements are good, and teachers are helpful, kind, and good-natured. All things are good. The college is decent; you can opt for it if you are ready for the tough curriculum, so you can opt for it.

Other: The crowd is average, but if you are serious, then you can stand out among the students very easily and can secure an excellent job very easily. The only thing is you have to be consistent and focused to enhance your skills.

Absolutely impressed with college placement but dissatisfied by the college life and hostel life.

Placements: The college offers exceptional placement prospects, with students qualifying for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards. The placement rate surpasses 98 percent, with prominent companies like Flipkart, Amazon, and Tekion conducting recruitment drives on campus. Although data for the average package of the 2023 batch is not yet available, the average package for the 2022 batch stood at 21.94.

Infrastructure: Our college, located in MANIT Bhopal, does not have an on-campus hostel. However, there is a hostel available outside the campus, situated 17 km away from the college. All the facilities, such as the sports complex and Nescafe, are provided by the college's parent campus.

Faculty: The faculty members possess a high level of education and excel in their teaching abilities. Some of the teachers are also alumni of MANIT Bhopal, which further enhances the quality of education. Additionally, all our laboratory sessions are conducted exclusively at MANIT Bhopal. The examinations are not excessively challenging, allowing students to achieve a good CGPA with ease. Moreover, the college curriculum is well-designed, ensuring that all necessary resources and facilities are provided by MANIT Bhopal.

I think if you want a good peer group and coding culture, you can consider this college

Placements: I'm talking about the 2023 placement. In CSE, 100% of students get placed. The highest package is 60 LPA, and the average is about 22 LPA. Amazon, Cred, LinkedIn are some of the top recruiters in our college. A high percentage of students get internships. The college's training and placement cell is also helpful.

Infrastructure: IIIT Bhopal doesn't have its own campus. It has a small building in NIT Bhopal (known as NTB). It has its labs and educational devices. It doesn't have its own library; it shares with NIT. Wi-Fi is present in classes. Hostels are okay—not so good, not so bad. Hostels are allocated in RGPV, BHEL, and NITTR for boys, and for girls in Sri Satya Sai. The food is bad.

Faculty: Teachers are really well-qualified. Some teachers are good at teaching, and they put a lot of effort into explaining in class. But students don't listen to them and say the faculty is not good. The course curriculum is very good and up-to-date; subjects that are not useful are not in the syllabus, which is a good point. Exams are easy if you study well in class.

Other: In IIIT Bhopal, events and fests are not so good. The coding culture is really good in our college. Codeme is our college's coding club, which is really good. The gender ratio is really disappointing. In our batch, there are 460 boys and only 15-20 girls.

Go for some good options and don't run behind packages.

Placements: Placements are not so good. Whatever average you see on Google, it's just a myth; all the off-campus and on-campus have been added and hence it has increased. The real average is only about 12–13 LPA, not 20 LPA. Go on to some good options if they have a good rank.

Infrastructure: No library, no sports, no fest events; we need to go to NIT events to enjoy them. Wi-Fi is slow; no bats, no ball; if you want to play, go and buy your own things and play; sports are just in the hands of seniors. Overall, there is nothing to enjoy; just find a good option.

Faculty: Teachers are all Ph.D. holders from NIT and getting passed in exams is so easy. Teachers are not so strict; they don't hold you back for their subjects. They know we are going for teach placements so they try to go give marks and pass their subjects.

Other: Many of you would have seen the average package and decided to come to this college. If you are one of them, then let's discuss this. Don't go for the average package of any college; people get good packages studying at a college with an average of 3 LPA. Placements are just skill-based; some students from IITs, NITs, and IIITs don't get good packages, but private college students grab them as they are only skill- and project-based. Also, think about the college life you are going to live and remember your whole life. Going to a college without any hostel, no events, no games, and no facilities even after knowing this, is a bad choice. Go for some IITs with good infrastructure and campuses; don't run behind packages .
