IIIT M.Tech seat allocation process varies for full-time and part-time courses. For full-time courses, the seat allocation process is carried out via the CCMT counselling process. Thus, for admission to the aforementioned courses, students must appear for the GATE exam followed by the CCMT counselling. For admission to part-time courses, students are required to fill out an institute level course. After that, shortlisted students are further evaluated based on their performance in the interview round.

IIIT Bhopal offers a M.Tech course via various departments. Thus, under this programme, the institute offers various specialisations, namely M.Tech in Data Science, M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence, and M.Tech in Cyber Physical System. Under each specialisation, the institute offers an equal number of seats, i.e., 20. This seat intake is as per official sources. However, it may vary.

Candidates who are offered M.Tech admission at IIIT Bhopal may be required to make part payment to confirm their admission. The total tuition fee for M.Tech courses ranges from INR 4.1 Lacs to INR 4.4 lakh, as per official sources. The fees can be paid via net banking, credit card, or debit card.

IIIT Bhopal offers a total of 60 seats under its M.Tech programme. Thus, this implies that a total of 60 students can do M.Tech from this institute. As per the Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhopal admission process candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria. Candidates must obtain a certain percenatge in their class pass out exam. Percenatge required for BTech admission is a minimum 75% aggregate required after qualifying JEE Mains for admission. Subjects which must be included are  Physics, Mathematics, and any one subject among Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject.

The total fees to pursue M.Tech at IIIT Bhopal iis a composition of many elements. Candidates are required to appear for the JEE Main and clear the Cutoff for admission to the IIIT Bhopal. Currently, IIIT Bhopal offers only one UG programme, BTech across three specialisations- CSE, ECE, and IT.Candidates seeking admission at IIIT Bhopal are required to complete the application form for the course-specific entrance exam. After appearing for the respective entrance exams, candidates have to apply for the counselling process for the final seat allotment.

For its flagship BTech course, IIIT Bhopal admits students with a valid JEE Main score. Candidates are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling.
