JEE Main 2025 Session 1 answer key has been released for admission to BE/BTech/BArch/BPlan courses, and the result is to be declared by Feb 12, 2025. For session 2, the registrations are open till Feb 25, 2025, and the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam is scheduled to be held between Apr 1 and Apr 8, 2025.

Satisfied with the college. If you get this college in JEE, you can for sure take it.

Placements: IIIT Una have decent placements. Most of the students get placed, around 50 percent on campus and 30 percent off-campus. The highest is in the range of 40 LPA mostly, and the lowest is in the range of 5-6 LPA. Many companies do come here, from Amazon to American Express. The companies do hire for SDE and dev roles mostly, but some also hire for business analyst roles. 30 percent of students only get internships on campus. Top roles are mostly SDE.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi provided in the college is good. The infra is one of the best in all the IIIT colleges currently. Library, study rooms, labs, all are there with AC and theater. The hostels are decent, have 3-sharing rooms, hot water for bathing, etc. All kinds of sports, except swimming, are available. Medical rooms are tiered. Two veg messes and one non-veg mess are there. Two canteens are there.

Faculty: The faculty is pretty much educated here; most of them have Ph.D. in their subjects. The teaching quality is good. Some teachers do give effort, some don't. The curriculum is one of the most advanced in India. It prepares you well for life outside the campus. The pass percentage is 95 percent, and the difficulty is moderate.

Other: There are a lot of clubs, from literary to photography to environmental to entrepreneurship. An annual fest named Mridang happens every year, and there is also a sports and tech fest. All government scholarships are available.

Overall college is good.

Placements: The placement rate for the 2025 batch is going really well. Many companies are arriving, unlike last year. The placement rate has also increased. The average placement of the college is 13-15 Lacs rupees per annum, which is quite good, even better than a few NITs. The placement rate of last year was 90 percent, which is quite good.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are very good. The hostel rooms are big, and the facilities provided to students are good. There are 3 hostels. Each hostel has its own mess and a common room, which is used for playing, club meetings, etc. Messes are clean and completely hygienic. The food provided to students is quite good.

Faculty: From this batch, the exam pattern has changed, which is good for students. From this curriculum, students may focus on their skills, as from this year, the exam pattern is like one mid-semester and one end-semester exam and 2-unit tests, which may be decided by teachers. Teachers are good, qualified, and knowledgeable persons. Every teacher is extremely good in their subject, and they are supportive.

Other: Life at IIIT Una is good as it is out of the city, so there is no sound of traffic. It has a clear area to breathe and greenery on campus. However, due to being outside of the city, it is far for students for market purposes.

A Growing College with Potential.

Placements: In 2023, the highest package was 60 LPA, and the average was around 15 LPA. However, in 2024, the average dropped to 9.4 LPA, and the highest was 35 LPA, with a placement rate of around 63%. Despite this, the institute's placement statistics are expected to improve significantly in the year 2025. The college mainly suffers due to its extremely remote location, as it fails to provide students with the exposure they need.

Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are well-equipped with every modern facility possible. There's a library, but the number of books and seating capacity is very limited relative to the number of students. Hostel facilities feature 3-seater rooms with two common washrooms per floor. Each hostel has a common room for indoor sports like table tennis and chess during the day, and these common rooms act as study areas at night. The mess offers decent food, and there's a canteen for snacks. Sports facilities are excellent, with basketball and badminton courts, a cricket ground, a football field, and a gym.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are well-qualified (most have a Ph.D.) and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is overall subpar. But this is the case with every other college. The course curriculum has some irrelevant subjects which are only taught in the first year. From the second year, only core subjects are taught. I feel the overall course is pretty outdated (but this is again the case with every other college). So to meet the latest industry standards, you have to keep working on yourself, learning relevant skills. Semester exams are pretty easy, with more than 95% of people passing.

Other: A cultural fest called "Mridang" happens annually, followed by a sports fest and a technical fest. The college is still in its growing stage and overall is pretty decent for the rank you get it at.

The college is good, if one is good.

Placements: In 2024, approximately 60%-70% of students were placed and many remain unplaced as a result of recession this year. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA and the average salary package offered ranges from 8 LPA - 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Nvidia, Intel, etc. As a fresher, I do not know much about internships. Top roles mostly include web developer and app developer.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good and hostel is also quite good as compared to other IIITs. Various electronics labs and infrastructure is also available for course. We also have department library, microwave lab, etc. Food quality is okayish, one can expect good food sometimes but sometimes the quality is not up to the mark. Canteen is available. Cricket, badminton, table tennis, and football are some of the most prominent sports our institute offers. In general, we can expect a good quality time here inside hostel and on campus as well.

Faculty: Some faculty members are knowledgeable and some are good but overall everyone is quite good at something. Everyone is master of something and one can't deny this fact. Teachers are helpful and qualified and well teaching qaulity is not up to the mark as one would expect but still okay about relevancy of course. I can say that it is somewhat relevant but not as much as one would expect it. It somewhat makes students industry-ready, but to be completely ready one must prepare themselves. Exams are good level.

Other: I chose this course because I am only getting this course in JoSAA. According to my rank of 49,000 and for now, as a fresher I don't know quite the best things about my course. But I have heard that semiconductor industry is going to boom till 2028 so I hope that I can do well. Something that I wish to be better is that there should be relevant courses. Events, fests, campus, and other things are also available.

IIIT UNA: Growing IIIT.

Placements: The B.Tech placements of IIIT Una are above average. According to the placement statistics of the year 2023, the average package stood at INR 15 LPA (compared to INR 12.1 LPA in 2022). The highest package offered during the placement drive 2023 was INR 46.5 LPA on-campus and INR 60 LPA off-campus. Therefore, an improving trend was witnessed. The top recruiters are LinkedIn, BharatPe, Expedia, Infosys, Deloitte, Jio, etc.

Infrastructure: At present, IIIT Una campus has three fully furnished and large hostels named Jatharagini, Bhutagni, and Chitagni. The hostels are better than the old hostels present in other IITs, NITs, and IIITs due to its newly-built campus. The hostels have all basic facilities. The rooms are three-seater. Bathrooms and toilets are present on each floor, with a solar water heating system, 2 outdoor badminton courts, an indoor table tennis hall, and a mess on the ground floor. There is also a newly opened cafeteria on the campus.

Faculty: The B.Tech program curriculum is well-designed, updated, and relevant for the students. The college exams are easy to pass due to the average system used. The evaluation of exams is based on a relatively grading system, which is awesome. The calendar for the academic year is always fixed and does not change. The student-teacher ratio stands at approximately 15:1. The quality of teaching is above average. The college also invites faculty for different guest lectures.

Other: The campus is located in a rural area, 10 kilometers away from Una city. Therefore, it has a peaceful lifestyle and environment. The hostels of our college are equipped with Wi-Fi access and 5G network connectivity. The campus of our college is very clean and lush green. All the classrooms and labs are well-equipped. There are various fests and events conducted throughout the year. The annual fests are YALGAAR (sports fest), MRIDANG (cultural fest), and MERAKI (technical fest). Also, there are various student clubs in our college. The student intake is limited; therefore, the student community here is very filtered.

Overall, this college is great for students who are willing to work hard.

Placements: Almost 50 percent of students were placed in all the streams. CSE and its branches had more than 50% placements, and it was average placements this year, lower than last year. The highest package for my stream was 35 LPA. Students who have completed web development and other coding languages strongly in subjects got internships in good companies.

Infrastructure: Labs are in very good condition. They have lots of computer labs with high-speed LAN wires and other labs like the Chemistry lab, Electrical and Electronics lab, Physics lab, all in very good condition. The equipment is new and properly working. Hostels are good, but the food quality is okay; sometimes they cook good food, but sometimes they don’t.

Faculty: Some faculty members are good, but some are not good at teaching. Although the content covered is up to the mark for good placements and skill development, obviously, a student has to work hard on their own for the skills taught in the course. The curriculum is relevant as of now. The semester exams are medium difficult and not very easy; it depends on the faculty too.

Other: I chose this course because it was the best available option out there according to my JEE rank. Events in this college are not on a grand scale but are enjoyable.
