IIM Ahmedabad MBA is a two-year post-graduate programme. This is a full-time residential course for graduates from all streams willing to build a career in Management. In addition to PGP, the institute also offers a two-year PGP-FABM course leading to a degree of MBA (Food and Agri-business Management).
MBA at IIM Ahmedabad provides students with the opportunity to get a double degree by being a part of the Double Degree (DD) programme. During this DD exchange, the selected students study at their home institution in the first academic year and are transferred to the host institution for the second academic year.

Meant for working professionals, candidates seeking admission must have a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of experience. On successful completion of this course students are given a Master of Business Administration degree. For admission, it is mandatory for all eligible candidates to take a GMAT/ GRE test. The IIM Ahmedabad PGP (MBA) placement process is conducted in clusters. The first stage is the lateral placement process, where companies interview students with work experience and offer them mid-level managerial positions. In the second stage, the PGP final placement process is conducted where companies were grouped into cohorts (domains such as Consulting, Finance, etc.) based on the profiles offered, and these cohort groups were invited to campus across three clusters for final placements.
