Placements: Placements on campus were good in 2023, but as it's a research institute, it's bad beyond that, and most students move on to pursue higher degrees instead of jobs. However, the highest salary package offered is 23 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 18 LPA. Companies like Morgan Stanley, IBM, Microsoft, and others visit here to hire. Top positions include science writers and quantitative analysts. A lot of students secured internships.

Placements: Students at IISER Bhopal have access to excellent internship and job options. This college admits between 60 and 85 percent of the students. The typical stipend is between LPA 13 and LPA 27. Our college receives placement requests from a variety of R&D firms. This college also offers vocational training to its students. The most sought-after positions are those of cryptologist and data scientist.

Placements: For students of natural sciences, the placement opportunities are quite low as compared to economics and engineering students. However, due to the presence of departments like Maths and Physics, people can get some offers if they possess relevant skills.

Placements: IISER Bhopal is more or less a college that focuses more on research than placements. Placements are very few—nearly less than 10 percent. Since IISER Bhopal is the only IISER offering an engineering degree, a few of them opt for placements, and a very few from natural science go for placements. The highest package was around 31 Lacs per annum and the average stood around 19 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Nomura Bank, Barclays, and Dr. Reddy's Lab. Most of the roles offered are kind of analyst or scientific roles.

Placements: As this is a research institute, IISER Bhopal does not have a significant number of students getting placed into companies from natural sciences. However, there is a good number of Ph.D. placements made from here. Even though students here have taken for granted their place in the industry due to the Indian Institute tag. Placements: My batch strength is about 400+. Most of the students don't opt for placements. We mainly go for PhDs, but people from the engineering department go for placements. The average placement package is about 10 LPA. The highest package was 27 LPA in 2022.

Placements: A new placement cell has been established recently. I am from a natural sciences background, so I don't know much about the placements for engineering students at IISER Bhopal. Mostly, they go for PhDs and other paths instead of placements.

Placements: My department offers a lot of internships and research opportunities. Most students in this course are likely to get internships. Students are also likely to get jobs from this department because the need for geologists and environmental scientists is high in this country.

Placements: IISER Bhopal is a research-based college, although it also offers BS in engineering and eco-sciences, so placements here are pretty less than a proper engineering college. But some have gotten placements in Barclays, Deloitte, Dr Reddy's, Toppers, Google, etc. But most people pursue higher studies here than going for placements.

Placements: IISERs are not popular for their placement as it's a research institute, so most students prefer academics over placement. I don't know the complete statistics of placement, but I know that 2 students who had done BSMS in Data Science got placed in Barclays.

Placements: IISER Bhopal is a research institute where students pursuing a BS-MS in the Natural Science stream are generally more interested in continuing research rather than taking placements. Over 95% of students secure internships, often at IITs, IISERs, and other research institutes. I am not familiar with the specifics of recruiting companies and placements from IISER Bhopal.

Placements: Students from each department get a decent number of internships in good institutes and companies all over the world. The average salary package of each student is around 7.6 lacs per annum. An average of 70% of students get placed from the Engineering and Economics departments.

Placements: From 4th year, students become eligible for campus placement. The names of companies that visited include Microsoft, Palo, Intel and many more. There were more than 1200 offers with the highest package being 57 lacs. The placement record is over 90% with students receiving more than 15LPA.
