Only come here if you actually want to study Science, not for the name that it is a top institute.

Infrastructure: Labs are the best thing you may find here in this institute as it is funded on hefty basis by the government and also there are such people to guide you in this. Hostels are pretty good, as they have paid automatic washing machines, sufficient spaced rooms, and other facilities.

Good infrastructure and facilities. Absolutely satisfied with faculty and studies.

Infrastructure: Faculty members are excellent; all of them are very cooperative; they are best in their own particular areas. Labs here are fully equipped (best), library 24x7, Wi-Fi available in whole campus, hostels are good, mess food is very good compared to other places, at most all sports and games, 24?7 medical facilities (free). Want to know more, then visit the Iiser Kolkata site.

The administration is slow.

Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure, lecture hall and research complex is great. But the hostels here are not well built. The food here is comparatively better than at other colleges. For a person like me who seats moderately, it costs around 2,000 per month for the food. The location of the college itself is bad; there is no proper transport available, and the main city is quite far away.

Best faculty members and good infrastructure.

Infrastructure: The overall college infrastructure is excellent and we can say the same; over-top IIT and AIIMS infrastructure is also here. We get everything on the campus. There is no need to go out for anything. They have all academics classes and labs.

Review for the MS in Space Physics from IISER Kolkata.

Infrastructure: IISER Kolkata has very good infrastructure for the Master’s in Space Physics course. Labs with all the necessary equipment are available for students’ experiential knowledge. The college has Wi-Fi, a library, a canteen, and hostel facilities. Overall, all the facilities are very good at this college.

All about IISER Kolkata .

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good all over IISER. WiFi is maintained. Labs are well-equipped, and classrooms have comfortable chairs and spacing. The library is well managed; you will find every book that you need during your coursework. The quality of the food is good. Medical facilities are average, as are sports.

An overview on IISER-K by an undergraduate student.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good, but the rooms are a bit small (because they put 3 students in a double sharing room and 2 students in a single sharing room for the first 2 years). But things are clean. Bathrooms are not so clean but much cleaner than expected from a government college. Additionally, the mess is a little bit messy. Because of the two messes, only one is functional. The medical facility is really good, I have to say. And talking about sports. IISER-K is a golden place for sports l...

It is one of the best and premier institutes to pursue your degree in Basic Sciences.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are quite good and satisfactory, like Wi-Fi, which is available 24 hours a day in all the labs, classrooms & libraries, as well as on the hostel premises. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is decent and very much eatable but it depends on the taste of the individual. Medical facilities are available on campus and ambulance services are there for any emergency. Sports and games facilities are amazing here; almost every sport is available to play and grounds...

Really good for students who are interested in research.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is really amazing, with world-class laboratories, a lecture hall complex, a 24*7 library, and a hostel with big rooms that accommodate around 1500 students inside the campus, with 2 students in each room. It also has a mess that is run by student representatives.

A place to study pure science.

Infrastructure: Hostels are quite clean except for some areas and a lack of maintenance for washing machines. Wi-Fi is available and works well with good speed. Labs are excellent classrooms, the average library is excellent, food is average, a medical unit is available, and the doctor is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

I would recommend students to join this college.

Infrastructure: Laboratory is very good. We have two dining halls. We also have a basement where we get all essentials. Research complex is also available for integrated Ph.D. students. It also provides a decent library.

The college has good and bad both.

Infrastructure: Hostels are quite good here, better than many national level institutes. They give one bed, one fan, one almirah and a pair of study table and chair. 24*7 light and water supply is there but the bad thing is that washrooms are not cleaned every day. You can find snakes in the bathrooms easily.

Our college has very good infrastructure and facilities.

Infrastructure: Our campus has all the required facilities with good infrastructure like a 24X7 library, computer center, etc. There are some drawbacks as it is far away from the city so students have to go to Kolkata if anything is needed.
