IITian and ISMite - a great college indeed.

Faculty: The teachers were really great and always helpful. They all are experts in their field, and some of them even provide suggestions to the industries. The course curriculum is very relevant and prepares you for the corporate life ahead. The exams are average still, it depends on the professors.

Good College in terms of opportunities .

Faculty: The curriculum is quite flexible and gives students lenience in selecting a limited number of courses. It gives students the opportunity to select their field of interest. This institute is academically strict and doesn't encourage any malpractices or attendance issues.

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is good for mining and other top branches.

Faculty: The professors have vast knowledge and teach in an understandable way. They are very interactive. The curriculum and exams are perfect for engineering students. Semester exams are quite difficult; scoring a high CGPA is challenging for some students, but not for all.

Absolutely satisfied with the college because of the really good environment and placements.

Faculty: The curriculum is the same as in other engineering colleges in India. Professors are highly qualified and knowledgeable, but only some can deliver the knowledge properly. Some teachers teach very well, but there are also professors you won't understand at all. The course curriculum is relevant, as almost all students with average grades get placed irrespective of their department. Semester exams are not so difficult; you can easily get decent grades. Less than 10 percent of students fail, and th...

Really Good Facilities in Hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are truly remarkable individuals. Although I may not be aware of their qualifications, their teaching techniques are highly commendable. They have the ability to simplify complex questions and provide clear explanations. This course is designed to prepare students for the industry, making it highly relevant. If we put in the effort to study diligently, we can overcome the challenges posed by semester exams.

Chance to explore IIT Dhanbad .

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and solve all doubts if you have any doubts related to the course. There are many teachers who graduated from different types of colleges with Ph.D.s in their field. The exam pattern is also good. There is 75% attendance mandatory for the exam.

Really good facilities and infrastructure along with above average placements.

Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent here as this is an IIT, and yea teachers are very helpful and well-qualified as well. Well, there are some courses offered considering the industry standards and the applications related to industry, so yes, they do make students industry ready. The exams are overall on the tougher side and the pass percentage cannot be decided as the grading is relatively among students.

An Honest Review of IIT Dhanbad.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes the student industry-ready. There are two types of exams in our college - one is the mid-term exam and the other is the end-term examination. The pass percentage is 90+.

Overall college was rated as good. I am satisfied with my decision .

Faculty: The teaching quality is very good, helping students become industry-ready and confident. The semester exams are a bit difficult but not impossible to score well in. As I have only completed the mid-term exams and not the full semester yet, I cannot comment on the pass percentage.

College is average in every aspect like placement and infrastructure..

Faculty: Some of the teachers were not very good, and their level of teaching was not up to par. This made it difficult for students to feel confident in their abilities, even though the coursework was designed to make students industry-ready.

Best faculty, infrastructure, good playground, health center and good placements.

Faculty: IIT Dhanbad (ISM) has highly experienced and qualified teachers who provide wonderful teaching. The teachers are very friendly and students can ask their doubts freely. However, the semester exams are hard compared to other colleges, and the pass percentage is between 25 and 30%. The pass percentage depends on the difficulty of the exam.

Good Nirf ranking and good placements.

Faculty: The faculty are very good and explain things in detail. The academics are challenging, but the faculty are very knowledgeable. Most of them have PhDs from other IITs and NITs. The EE course is easy if you understand it, but you have to do some external practice to really learn the core subject.
