Good infrastructure and the best petroleum engineering department.

Faculty: It is very subjective and depends upon the professor. Teachers are helpful. The total marks distribution depends upon the quiz, mid-semesters, and end-semesters. The pass percentage and overall performance vary with branches. Although overall performance is good.

Beautiful life of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.

Faculty: Professors are very qualified. All of them have done their Ph.D. from renowned colleges. They are very helpful and the quality of teaching is very good but they are also very strict with discipline and 75% attendance criteria. Course curriculum is well designed and the examination is divided into 4 parts 2 quizzes of 10 marks each 1 midsem and 1 endsem are of 30 marks and 50 marks weightage respectively. Exam questions are mainly from the class notes shared by professors.

Great Infra, Poor Faculty, Average Placements.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good, but they do not provide practical knowledge. This course curriculum includes excursions. The college exam level is average. There is no passing percentage; there is relative marking. Percentages are not decided; it depends on the relative performance.

Good because of good teachers and infrastructure.

Faculty: There are many qualified and knowledgeable teachers in my college. But talking about their teaching quality, it's not that good or not that bad; it's average. Teachers are helpful and approachable. Some faculty members are very helpful and kind. The course curriculum is very relevant, and of course, yes, it makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not that difficult or not that easy; a medium level is followed, and the pass percentage depends upon the respective faculty because ...

Really Good Facilities in Hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are truly remarkable individuals. Although I may not be aware of their qualifications, their teaching techniques are highly commendable. They have the ability to simplify complex questions and provide clear explanations. This course is designed to prepare students for the industry, making it highly relevant. If we put in the effort to study diligently, we can overcome the challenges posed by semester exams.

Absolutely a very good place for knowledge.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and teach well. Their teaching style is a bit different compared to others, and there are 14 weeks allotted for a semester, which is enough to complete the syllabus and study. Coming to exams, some are very tough and some are a bit easy, depending on the professor. Exams will be like that, and the pass percentage is almost 90%.

Beautiful campus with greenery all around and good infrastructure buildings.

Faculty: The faculty members are very interactive with the students. Whenever they are in their office, we can go to their chamber and ask our academic doubts. Some professors also guide us regarding career goals. I chose the mining course as it is very practical. The curriculum prepares us very well for real-world applications. Some professors are very aged, so we are not able to understand them well; this could be improved. The mid-semester exam is held two months after the semester starts, and the end...

Good faculty members are available here, and the infrastructure is also well-designed.

Faculty: Faculty members are very interactive with the students. They help in academics as well as non-academics. They teach us very well in class, but some are not as effective. The course in our curriculum is quite enough to make a student ready for placements in the industry. Two exams are conducted in each semester: one is the mid-semester exam and the other is the end-semester exam. Both are moderate to tough.

Yes, our course curriculum is very good and useful for software engineers. Some exams are very hard, and the pass percentage will be above 90 except for some subjects.

Living the IIT life of IIT ISM.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and they provide a clear overview of the course before it starts. Every professor is graduated from top universities, so they are qualified for the profession. Every year is divided into semesters: an easy semester and a hard semester to maintain a balance.
