I can say that college is quite good enough, will give ample of opportunities to you.

Placements: The placements are quite good enough for a freshers graduation in current scenario. You can expect packages of crore but it is very limited. Yes, if you work upon your skills and maintain a minimum CGPA, the placement is almost guaranteed. Also the internship opportunities are also vast here.

IIT-ISM Dhanbad, a center of knowledge in the coal capital of India.

Placements: Overall placements are good. Last year due to recession it was not up to the mark. But before that it was decent. Placements percentage is about 80% in mining machinery. Talking about 2023 placement states. The highest salary package offered was 44 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 9 LPA.

Absolutely I am satisfied because the NIRF ranking of my college.

Placements: Our course had an 81.31% placement rate. The average salary was INR 16.98 lacs, the highest salary was INR 56 lacs, and the median salary was INR 15 lacs in 2023. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Tata Metaliks, Tata Power, Tata Steel, American Express, Ram Group, Schlumberger, AMD, Deloitte, and Aditya Birla visited our campus for placements.

A better and more comfortable choice.

Placements: I am from the mechanical department pursuing a bachelor of technology in mining machinery engineering. According to 2024, the placement percentage of our branch is 75%. Students must score above 7 CGPA. The placement percentage for the bachelor of technology is 93%.

Definitely not my first choice, but satisfied with the college environment.

Placements: Out of 1,114 students who SAT in the placements, 993 got successful placements. The percentage of students is 69.97 in B.Tech and 54.13 in M.Tech. The average salary package offered is around 13.68 LPA. Around 184 PPOs and 284 internships are offered for the 2025 batch. The stipend offered is Rs. 75,000.

Really Good Facilities in Hostel.

Placements: The placement opportunities at IIT are exceptional, with students securing positions in some of the world's leading companies. Around 80% of students successfully find placements, while the remaining 20% explore opportunities in startups and other ventures. In 2020, the highest package offered was INR 25 lacs, while the lowest package stood at 12 lacs. Renowned companies actively participate in the hiring process at IIT.
