Is IIT Indore Good for B.E./B.Tech?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what stands out:

Pros:
* Excellent Infrastructure: The campus is well-designed, with modern facilities, including state-of-the-art labs, libraries, and recreational spaces.
* Helpful Teachers: Professors are knowledgeable, experienced, and willing to guide students.

Cons:

Overall Verdict:
IIT Indore appears to be a reputable institution with excellent infrastructure, helpful teachers, and relevant coursework. While there are some areas for improvement, particularly in terms of limited placement opportunities, the college seems to offer a solid foundation for students looking to pursue a successful career in engineering.

The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering is 7474 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission at IIT Indore - Indian Institute of Technology.

The eligibility criteria for M.Tech courses at IIT Indore is that candidates should have a four-year bachelor’s degree or a five-year integrated degree with first division (as defined by the awarding institute/ university for Indian applicants and equivalent for international applicants) in a relevant stream.

Admission to IIT Indore is based on the national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main and JEE Advanced. To get admission for the BTech course, candidates must:

• pass Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics 
• secure a rank in JEE Main exam within the top 2,50,000 students
• appear for JEE Advanced with the required rank

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore provides 40+ undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level courses which include BTech, MTech, MSc, and PhD. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 6970 and closing rank was 7474.
