When considering the BTech programme among IIT Indore, IIT Hyderabad, and IIT Roorkee, each institution has its own strengths.

IIT Roorkee, with a NIRF ranking of 5, stands out as the top choice, offering a range of BTech programs. IIT Hyderabad follows closely behind with a NIRF ranking of 8, providing a competitive academic environment.  Admission to the BTech programme is completely entrance exam-based, i.e., based on JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced scores. Candidates seeking admission to BTech can not get admission to IIT Indore with only the scores of JEE Main. JEE Advanced followed by JoSAA counselling is the only selection criteria followed by the institute. However, to be eligible for the BTech programme, students are required to have passed their Class 12 with at least 75% aggregate with Science subjects (i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). 

IIT Indore JEE Advanced Cutoff was released based on the category and gender. For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranks ranged between 1389 and 10894. To get BTech in CSE, the General AI category candidates must have secured a minimum cutoff rank of 1389. For the General AI female candidates, the minimum JEE Advanced rank to get CSE was 4698. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff rank for CSE closed at 649. 

Therefore, a General AI candidate cannot secure a seat in CSE with the cutoff rank of 2000. However, the Cutoff rank to secure the course would depend on the category and gender.

Hall of Residence for students at IIT Indore is located on the permanent campus of the Institute at Simrol. The newly constructed building of the hall has the latest amenities. Presently, more than 900 students are residing in the hall. IITI has various campus facilities which include Cafe, Atm, Bank, laundary, salon, etc.
