Why you should choose IIT Indore!

Placements: This year, in the 2024 passing batch, the placements were not that good. Nearly 65% of students from our branch got placed. The average package was 15 LPA, which is less compared to previous years. The lowest was 8-9 LPA, and the highest was 35 LPA. The top recruiters this year were Jio, ZS, Razorpay, Deloitte, and Walmart. The internship scenario is bad this year; only a few students from our branch got internships. The top roles offered were SDE, Analyst, Consultant, and core positions.

Good learning facilities.

Placements: 95 percent of our course will be placed. The highest is 60 LPA, and the average is 32 LPA. The least is 4 LPA. Most roles offered in my course were based on AI, ML, web development, or CP.  I don't know the percentage of students, but most of the students will be getting internships at the end of their 3rd year.

Life in an IIT by an average student.

Placements: In our course, approximately 80% of the students got placed with an average CTC of 10 LPA. The highest package was around 18 Lacs per annum and average was around 10 LPA with the lowest package being around 5 to 6 LPA. Many PSUs and tech companies visit for recruitments. Students getting internship opportunities are less in this branch compared to the other branches.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Most people are classified as both core and non-core. The average package of the CSE branch is around 30 lakh per year. And that is the highest among all the average packages. There are also opportunities for internships at companies like Amazon.

Overall a good second generation IIT.

Placements: The institute claims to provide place 90 percent of its students. The average package is around 21 Lacs. In terms of internships I would advise not to expect much if you are from core branches. Although the people from circuital branches manage to get internship at good places like jio, etc.

Overall the college is good .

The placement team is very helpful but the college will take some more years to have 1cr placements. Also most of the students that were placed were from CSE.

Our college provides good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our college are average for M.Tech students. However, some sponsored students from industries tool admission in your batch, which helped students in getting placements in reputed organisations. John Deere is one such company. However, many IT companies visit the campus for recruitment every year.

Review of IIT Indore - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: It is always a truth that the students' ability plays a major role in the placements. Moreover, if you have good enough skills, then placements should not matter to you much as you have a life ahead and will be getting great opportunities.

The placement team is amazing and very supportive. The course curriculum can be better structured.

Placements: I was looking forward to more companies to arrive for campus placement season with more number of offers. So, I think the placements could have been far better. But on the other hand, the placement team is amazing and very supportive, to be honest.

My college IIT Indore - A place to learn and get good education.

Placements: Placements are good here with an average package of 15 LPA. CSE and EE have a very good placement history. Mechanical is also good but not that high package is offered. Almost everyone here goes for non core jobs. Since IIT Indore is the fastest developing IIT, it will surely improve its placements in the upcoming years.

Our college is good academically.

Placements: As of now, none of the batches has passed out. So, our college doesn't depict a huge placement rate. However, 3 seniors got PPOs. It will be the first batch to be passed out from this college in this discipline. Currently, I don't have enough idea about internships.
