The application fee per department is INR 300 for General/ Gen-EWS/ OBC category and INR 200 for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates. This amount is completely non-refundable. Candidates can deposit the requisite application fee by using net banking or debit/credit card facilities. Additional charges are applicable as per the rule of the concerned bank. The fee is, however, not accepted through any other mode.

Candidates seeking admission to IIT Jammu for PhD must have completed a master’s degree in Engineering/ Technology or a master’s degree by research in Engineering/ Technology along with a good academic record. They must also have a qualifying GATE score to be eligible for the same. Students can go to the official website to apply and check if there were any changes in the last date of application. 

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice. 

The fee structure of Dual Degree in technology & Management offered by IIM Jammu in collaboration with IIT Jammu is mentioned below:

• For initial four-years of BTech, the tuition fees will be according to the fee structure of IIT Jammu BTech, that is, INR 8 lakh
• For the remaining two-years of MBA, candidate will be charged according to the MBA fee structure of IIM Jammu. Hence, the tuition fee for MBA is INR 10.50 lakh
• Therefore, the total tuition fees for six-year dual degree in Technology and Management is INR 18.50 lakh.

IIT Jammu offers two-year MSc course in two specialisations. Candidates who have completed graduation can apply for any of the below specialisations:

• Physics
• Chemistry

The IIT Jammu JAM cutoff 2024 was concluded after the release of it's last round. The cutoff ranks closed at the range of 734-879, among the General AI category candidates. Therefore, it is possible to get IIT Jammu with this rank in IIT JAM.The Cutoff ranks for the last-round in respect of the General AI category is given in the table below:

NTA has announced the JEE Main application form date 2025. The application form was released on October 28, 2024 will be available until November 22, 2024. The JEE Main 2025 application form session 2 will be available from January 31 to February 22, 2025.

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. The IIT Jammu MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, wherein the M.Sc. in Chemistry is the most competitive specialisation with a closing rank of 628 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course is M.Sc.in Physics with a cutoff rank of 632. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the MSc courses must secure a rank up to 632 to be eligible for IIT Jammu. 

IIT Jammu admission to the MSc course is based on IIT JAM scores, followed by the IIT JAM counselling process. Only candidates on the JAM 2024 merit list based on JAM 2024 scorecard will be eligible to apply for admission.
