Candidates secured a CPI of 5.5 on a 10.0 scale in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. The Candidate must have qualified GATE with Electronics and Communication as the subject. The requirement of GATE score is waived off for the B.Tech. graduates from IITs with a minimum overall CPI of 6.5 and a minimum CPI of 8.0 in the last two years in B.Tech. Sponsored candidate should possess a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying exam (no gate score needed) and must have been in service of the sponsoring organization for at least two years at the time of admission.
