IIT Kanpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Approximately more than 90% of students are placed in my course in every sector whether it is core or non-core. The average package offered last year was around 30 Lacs per annum which is quite decent for a large batch of 250 students. Top core recruiters are texas instruments, Intel, Qualcomm, etc.

Placements: Around 91% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 2 crores per annum. The average salary package offered is 29.57 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Uber, Microsoft, Google, Flipkart, Goldman Sach, etc.

Placements: Placements at IIT Kanpur are extremely good. In CSE, the average package offered is around 44 LPA, and the overall average package is around 14 LPA - 15 LPA. The highest international package is 2 crores per annum, and the highest domestic package is 1.2 Crores per annum. There are extremely renowned companies that offered excellent placements to students from different branches. Main recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Adobe, DE Shaw, Accenture, Netflix, and many more.

Placements: Many students from the 7th semester were eligible for campus placements and many students got jobs in the 6th semester. Top recruiting companies like Tata, Reliance, Google, Avishkar, etc., visited our campus. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA and the average salary package offered was 1 LPA. Many students got jobs as senior developers or as managers. About 85% of students got placements in a company after the course was completed.

Placements: Our college placement starts in the 7th semester. Almost 90% of students were placed on campus. Almost 400-500 companies came for recruitment. Some students go to UPSC after graduation. I am preparing for the Quant profile. Almost 400-500 students got internships out of 1200 students. It was difficult to get internships for non-crucial branches. Placements: More than 90% students who registered got placed. In my course the highest package was offered by Accenture Japan and was 60 LPA. Other notable offers were from Ola Electric, Redseer Consulting, Top roles offered were software developer, business analyst, management consultant.

Placements: Above 95% students have been chosen in different companies. Around 90% students have been chosen for internships. Top recruiters are Optiver, Quadeye, glean, etc. Last year, the highest package was 2.08 crore and the lowest was around 15 Lacs. Average package is above 30 Lacs.

Placements: Approximately 85% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 2 crores per annum. The lowest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the average salary package offered is 30 LPA. Google, Microsoft, Intel, Samsung, Uber, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Nearly 60-70% of students get internships in Microsoft, Qualcomm, and Goldman Sachs.

Placements: Every student gets good companies and better opportunities for future studies. As Indian institute of technology Kanpur is one of the best university in India, so students are explored to all types of subjects and the average package of students are ranging from 10 to 12 Lacs.

Placements: Placements in my college are one of the best in our country. Last placement season we had our 89% of our students placed in companies from all over the world which was the highest placement Statistics in the whole country. Yes my college does provide internship. Internship in itself is a great learning experience and an opportunity to try your hands at new and interesting things. Placements: The college is among the top 5 institutes of India so the placement without a doubt is according to the college standard and name. The college maintains a record of 100% placement and the highest salary offer was around 2 CPA and the average salary offered is around 25 LPA. Axtria, EXL, Goldman Sachs, OLA, Uber are the major recruiters for the college. Few of my batchmates received a pre-placement offer from which I am also the one that received a pre-placement offer.

Placements: Official placement is at the end of 7th semester in December. Moreover, pre-placement is also offered after internships. Internships are offered in 3rd and 4th year. However, 1st and 2nd year students are also eligible for internships but they don't have much knowledge and experience at this earlier stage. Many well renowned companies Congress for placement, also there are many foreign job offers. My plan is to opt for research or core job or job in AI field.

More than 200 companies visited the campus. More than 1000 offers were made. Top recruiters were Graviton and Quant Mutual Fund. The highest salary package offered was 45 LPA and the average salary package offered was 10 LPA.

Placements: Around 9% of students are placed. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Oracle, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Ola, Morgan, Stanley, JPMC SDE, Grow, and SRID. Almost 75% of students get internships every year. Top roles are software developer, analyst, B.A., APM, management trainee, GEET, and application engineer.

Placements: The placement of IIT Kanpur is best as the top MNCs come to hire the best students. But the myth that all students of IIT have a good package in placement or the IIT student has an extra edge of exposure to placement is not true, as they hire the best possible candidates who have the proper knowledge.

Placements: There is no competition for IIT Bombay in placements. It gives the best placements all over India, but only the deserving candidates can get placed. About 70% of students got placed in reputed companies like Tata Chemicals, Pidilite, Atul Limited, UPL Limited etc. Mostly, students work in pharmaceuticals, and some in designing and construction. About 90% of students got internships in their 3rd or 4th year.

Placements: All students got placed. The median salary package was 19 LPA. There is a huge variety of firms for recruitment. Most people do internships from the 2nd year. Companies that offer internships are mainly software based like Microsoft and Google. Top roles include software, core engineering, data analytics, techno-managerial, and consulting.

Placements: Around 49 students get an average salary of Rs 1 crore, and placements are very high. Almost all big names in the industry are interested to have someone from IITK. The placements office is managed by the student body and they can have a chance to be part of it and explore everything about it in 1-3 years.

Placements: The placements in our college are very good. The placement percentage of our college is 100%. The salary package varies from 8 LPA to 2 crores per annum. Last year, 1 student got 2 crores from Uber for their software developer profile. Not every student goes to the core companies. Some do coding too. Almost all big firms, from JLR to Bajaj ITC. You can get offers in R & D product management in the core.
