Fully satisfied with faculty members, infrastructure and departmental support.
Placements: One of the finest HR MBA course in the country with excellent ROI. With a course fee of 3 Lacs for two years and an average package of 10 plus, MHRM has always maintained its reputation as the course to sought for. I can vouch for this fact as I was a part of placement committee for the batch of 2015-17.
Infrastructure: In one word - Brilliant. There is no other campus in India which can brag of such vivacity. With a brilliant academic facilities and a Fab peer group, IIT Kgp scores big in every aspect of infrastructure. The hostels are also good. One area in which college can improve is food as food is still not as good as other esteemed colleges.
Faculty: Curriculum is brilliant and well tuned to modern HR practices and the course is taught brilliantly by esteemed faculty members of Department of HSS. The curriculum has courses like CSR, Analytics and Statistics which are not taught in other B-Schools. The collaboration with law School of IIT also makes this course worth looking at.
Other: The peer group, normal crowd, faculty members and events all are brilliant in IIT Kgp.

The college has a great ROI.
Placements: A total of 24 offers were provided to the HRM batch consisting of 16 students. The highest salary package offered was 13.92 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 9.96 LPA. Companies such as IBM, Mahindra and Mahindra, Afcons, Capgemini, Moolchand Healthcare, Ocwen Financial, John Deer, and Phillips Carbon Black visited the college to recruit the students. The roles offered were a senior consultant, deputy manager HR, management trainee HR, associate consultant, HR business partner etc. Every student gets internships through the very effective placement cell which is available on the campus. Moreover, students get both winter and summer internships. The average stipend offered for summer internships was around Rs. 50,000 for 2 months.
Infrastructure: The programme is a part of the IIT system, so state-of-the-art facilities of IIT Kharagpur standards were available in our college for students. Labs were great, but some of the classrooms may seem a little old. Hostel rooms are great. During our time, we were provided with rooms on a single-sharing basis, on the campus. The canteen food was good.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college have PhDs and even post-doctoral degrees. Many teachers also have international teaching experience. They were extremely knowledgeable and constantly strived to use the latest means to teach. Guest faculty members from the industries constantly kept us updated with the real-world developments. Our HRM batch was very small, and the teachers greatly outnumbered the students. Any subjects taken outside the programme could get you micro-credits, and you can audit any course you want, from the different programmes offered by IIT Kharagpur.
Other: Festivals like Spring Fest, Kshitij, alumni meet, etc., are conducted in the college. All the facilities and activities conducted in IIT Kharagpur are also available for all the students.

A good choice if you have an inclination to HR.
Placements: The placements offered by the college are great in comparison to the fees. For a management course, MHRM probably has one of the highest ROIs in the country (with an average package of nearly Rs. 10 lakhs per annum as opposed to a fee of just Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum). It's noteworthy that MHRM has been able to provide 100% placement in the previous years consistently. The profiles on offer are pretty good. Detailed information can be obtained by referring to the placement reports.
Infrastructure: Being a part of the IIT campus ensures that we have access to the best possible infrastructure. Smart classrooms, high-speed internet connectivity, a vast and well-stocked library, an in-house hospital for the medical needs and avenues to explore any sport or extracurricular activity imaginable you name it, IIT has it.
Faculty: The curriculum is unique and tailored to meet the changing demands of the industry. The rigorous academic syllabus is complemented by an equal focus on extracurricular activities and teamwork in various clubs and committees on campus. Case studies back the lessons, live projects and guest lectures and ensure, as budding HR professionals are encouraged to venture beyond the confines of our textbooks. The curriculum is a unique mix of management studies, psychology and labour laws, ensuring that we are given a holistic foundation on all the aspects of human resource management. Also, the faculty are highly experienced educators who have carved out a niche for themselves in their respective fields.

All the students get internship from college. The average stipend for internship was 45k and highest was 75k.
Infrastructure: As we are in the campus of IIT Kharagpur, we have all the facilities. The whole campus is wi-fi enabled, with LAN ports in all hostel rooms for even faster internet access. There is hardly any power outing. IIT Kharagpur has one of the largest libraries of any educational institution in India. There is a full fledged hospital (B.C. Roy Hospital) in campus which is free of cost. Even all the medicines are provided free of cost to all the students. For sports, there are two huge stadiums, a two storey gymnasium, swimming pool, many volleyball, basketball, tennis courts. Moreover, even all the hostels have their own separate sports rooms with provisions for sports like badminton, volleyball, table tennis, carom etc. The infrastructure is top notch, all classrooms are air conditioned. The whole academic area is well maintained. All the classrooms are well maintained, labs and systems well functional. All classrooms, not only in my department, but all the departments are fully hi-tech (mic, speaker, projector with computer, screens etc.). Food in the mess of hostels and canteen is very good. They are well maintained, and any complaint is seriously and quickly looked into. Hostel rooms are well maintained, with sweepers and cleaning persons working daily. Even all the students rooms are cleaned by the cleaning staff. Any complaint is looked into very quickly. Every floor of my hostel has a water purifier and a washing machine.
Faculty: My course is run by the department of Humanities and Social Sciences. The faculty in my department is excellent. All are having PhD. All teachers have many publications, citations to their name. All of them are highly qualified and knowledgeable. For our batch of 20, we had many teachers teaching us. For 2 years a total of 15 teachers will teach us various subjects. We had classroom sessions, with industry visit, guest lectures by industry professionals. The teaching method was holistic, mixing theory with case studies, presentations, group discussions. My course curriculum is very in tune with the latest demands of the industry.
Other: Being in an IIT Campus gives you a lot of exposure. There are many events, seminars, conferences taking place regularly, which is open for all. There is a great learning and developing opportunity. The campus life is very vibrant with a scope for taking part in many societies, clubs, events etc. The campus is a 2000+ acre campus, full of greenery. The freedom provided to socialise and develop oneself, is hardly found in any other Indian college.
