Honest overview of IIT KGP.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility quality varies. All first-year students are accommodated in Lal Bahadur Shastri Hall of Residence, which has a capacity of 2000+ students. It has clean washrooms and spacious triple-sharing rooms. Almost all hostels have triple-sharing or single-sharing rooms. An interesting feature is that if the hostel/hall has triple or double-sharing rooms, you can have roommates of your choice. Meals also vary among hostels, but they are properly planned according to nutritional requirements...

My college is good in terms of infrastructure and facilities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was so good. We have recently added a new building. It has so many labs; I don’t know the correct number, but it has nearly 10 labs in the core course, and we also have some labs from other departments to improve our knowledge in other fields and use them in our branch.

IIT KGP: The Inside Story.

Infrastructure: The department is very good, with all the required things like seminar rooms and properly facilitated labs. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on the campus, so you don’t struggle with network issues here. Hostels are called halls here. The halls are old, as many were built at the time of the establishment of the campus. But they all have the needed facilities like a library, TV room, common room, badminton court, basketball court, etc.

Satisfied because of the campus area, facilities are good and faculty are helping in nature.

Infrastructure: The labs are really good; everything is available, but some machines are old, and the Wi-Fi is sometimes really good and sometimes horrible—it doesn't even connect. Facilities in the hostel are okay. Everything is available, but some things are old; switches are broken, etc. The food is a little disappointing for vegetarians.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very great here, especially the lecture halls and library, which are massive. Meanwhile, the hostels were not as good as expected but yes, they are still great. Mess food is one of the most amazing things here for me. And we also have so many outlets if someone does not want to rely on the mess.
