I am dissatisfied with all private engineering colleges due to placement.

Placements: If you are looking for better placements, then forget all these things because all private colleges and university are showing a good placement record, but the reality is a few good companies visit the campus for placements. Even at Amity University, students are still competing for a salary package of 2.2 LPA, i.e., for calling profiles. Some of the companies like Oppo and Vivo. They are mass recruiters as the college has tie-ups with them, where they offer profiles which are harder than labour...

Neither bad nor good it's an average college.

Placements: Placements are very good. Everything is done nicely. Students are provided proper training in placement cell that how to behave in front companies. High level companies are managed for students. Almost every student is placed. Minimum package is about 3-4 lacs.

Good in education, but there will be no college life.

Placements: The companies do visit in good number for CS and IT branch offering a starting package of 2-3 LPA but, don't believe in the fake percentage of the placed figure. For civil, it is around 3-4 LPA, placed with the contractual bond. For the placements, you have to score above 60% score until the 3rd year.

A good college with some bad faculty members.

Placements: Placements are good for CS and IT students in this college. There is no scope for the other branches. But this college has a record of the largest paper bridge in Limca book of world records. The faculty of mechanical are good, and the civil branch has the worst faculty. Other branches have average faculty members.

It's a good college, and there are limitations everywhere. So, you can't get all at one place.

Placements: The placements are good in the college, more than a 100 companies come to the college every year with good package. Even students get off campus placement as well because of their high graded skills. The average package goes up to 4.5 LPA. Overall, as seen from this college level, the placements are well and good.

Moderately satisfied with the college. More improvement could be made in regard to the placements.

Placements: The placement opportunities are moderate. The students who have a good academic record and also who have participated in research projects have higher chances of getting placement. The placement is not 100%, but if you score well, then on-campus placement is guaranteed.

A good college for CS and IT branches only.

Placements: This college should not be preferred for civil placement although CS and IT placements are excellent. Various companies like Infosys, Sopra, Wipro and TCS visit the campus with Infosys taking the major chunks of the student. The college will sure give the student of CS/IT placement if he is not having backlogs.

Drop a year, but don't go for UPTU University.

Placements: I got a placement but in a semi core company. It is the bad experience of joining, as I am a civil engineer. The campus placements for the civil department are limited. In spite of being a reputed college in Uttar Pradesh, no core companies came for placements, but still, there are placements for computer science and IT departments.

I am fully satisfied from my college.

Placements: Many companies come to my college like Wipro, Infosys and many non-technical companies also come like Flipkart, Amazon. The placements are good. The requirement for placement is good communication skills, aptitude skill, technical skills, etc. Almost all the students are placed successfully in the respective field.

A college with good placements.

Placements: There are decent placements with the average package for B.Tech around 3 LPA. Almost 80% batch is provided with the placements. The major recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Sopra, Steria and Tech Mahindra. The training and placement cell is very cooperative and helped us in multiple ways.

The college with the average placement, good faculty members and progressing infrastructure.

Placements: The training and placement cell is helpful, but the placement percentage is not much high. Approximately, 50% of the students get the placement. The faculty members give the guidance about the placement. There is a recommendation system, which makes the placement of average student harder.

Dissatisfied with the last year placements because mechanical branch placement is bad.

Placements: The placements for computer science and IT branches are very good. Mostly, the student of these branches gets the place, but for other branches, it is very difficult to place. The companies like Amazon, OLX, Infosys, JBM, Fractal Limited, etc., comes every year in our college, but these companies always select the students from computer science and IT branch. Mechanical companies like JBM take the students from our branch but always demand money 1.5 lacs for training which is impossible for the ...

Good college in the Delhi-NCR region

Placements: The placement record in Inderprastha Engineering college is not very good for civil engineering and mechanical engineering departments. But in spite of these two, computer engineering, information technology engineering, and electronics and communication engineering departments have a pretty good record.

Good for studies but no scope for co-curricular activities

Placements: The placements at our college basically depend on the branch you have opted. Computer science and information technology get the best placements and about 70- 80% students are placed in companies like Infosys, IBM, HP, TCS, Amazon, Paytm, etc. But for the civil department, there are no core companies. Out of 120 students, only 16 were placed in my senior batch, but they didn't get the placement in their own field. Instead, they got placed in the IT companies. In short, civil engineers will have ...

Not satisfied because of bad placements in 2015.

Placements: The placement cell is not as expected. They say 100% placements but do not provide the same. Only one bulk recruiter came to the campus. No company was there for students having less than 60%. Only marks are considered and not the knowledge of the student. Faculty members are not fully involved in placements. But there is one one teacher who is helpful and he is Mandeep Katre.

Excellent faculty members and average placements every year. Well-equipped infrastructure etc.

Placements: Placement is the most important aspect of each student before taking admission in a college but in a college of AKTU, you cannot be sure of placement. In Indraprastha, 7-8 companies come for placements among which is Infosys, HCL and some others. All companies mostly take CS, IT and ECE students. But last year, 6 mechanical students got placed from the college with a 5.5 lakh package. Indraprastha has improved in placements from the previous years' record. In the last batch, 70 percent of the st...

Original and true review about Indraprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad.

Placements: Not good for civil engineering students. You have to place yourself with your personal links. No companies visit the campus for the civil engineering department. For placement, computer science students have a healthy opportunity. The placement cell is worried about the placement of computer science and information technology department and the placement for core branches like civil, mechanical and electrical are nearly nil.

Average college of UPTU in Delhi NCR.

Placements: Placement is really good when you are in CS or IT branch. Very few students of ECE and EN are placed. Mechanical and civil, just forget about placement, let alone placement in a multi national company. For my batch, placement is 10 out of 60. The salary is very low.

Placements: The major recruitment is done by Infosys, but I was not eligible as the minimum percentage required was 65%. The highest package was provided by Infosys which was around 3.5 lacs per annum and the minimum package was 1.8 lacs per annum provided by Algoworks Pvt Ltd. Placements: Around 70-80% students were placed in various IT companies and some core production companies. But, there were no opportunities for the core electrical engineers this year. The main recruiters were Infosys, Saurya Enertech, R Systems, Algoworks, APL Apollo etc. There were several placements from the off-campus as well. The students were placed in Aon Hewitt, Sopra Steria, HCL, Mu Sigma etc. The average package offered was about 2.4 LPA, the highest this year was 16 LPA for a three-year contract...
