I had been an Agriculture Graduate before coming to IIFM. Considering it is a relevant option for my Agri profile, location and competitive fee structure. I joined this college in the year 2012. After passing out from this college in 2014, I would like to say that, it is very specific sectoral college for the students focusing on rural/social development, environmental issues and challenges. My personal advice to the aspirants is not to mislead by considering it, as a general B-School from where...

IIFM is a premier management institution for environment management and forestry. It is the best institute for those who do not want to pursue a career in the corporate sector. It provides career opportunities to those who wish to pursue a career in rural development, climate change, NGO management and forestry, though the institute offers you enough courses which would help you to land a job in the corporate sector as well. The IIFM campus is beautiful and lush green situated on a hill top. The...

Our college is an excellent sectoral institute.

Placements: The salary package depended on the sector in which a student was interested in working. Major recruiters include rural livelihood missions, microfinance companies, research organisations, and non-profit companies. All students got internships.

Indian Institute of forest management an underrated college

Placements: Well, I think it is the best college in terms of placement because almost all of my batch-mates have been placed somewhere at an average 6-6.5 lac package and it is great value for money if you look at the average salary package the students are getting.
