One of the best college in India for bad communication.
Placements: As it is one of the best Mass communication colleges in India, one should never think of placements. Being a student of IIMC is a matter of proud in itself. As talk of placements, it is very good, and almost all the students got placed in my senior batch. The placements process is going on for my batch, and 60% of students got placed. I am sure the rest all will also get placed. Last year, the highest package was 8 LPA, the average was 4 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. The internship is mandatory for all the students in the college. You have to get it on your own, and somehow teachers and placement cell helps the student to get it. Some students get paid internship, and some are unpaid, the majority are unpaid. The highest stipend offered was Rs 10000, the lowest was zero, and the average was Rs 4,000-5,000. The placement cell is very helpful during placements time. Right now, I am looking for my placement. The companies that visited the campus are ABP news, Dainik Jagran, Utkridt media, times group, etc.
Infrastructure: When you enter the college, you wonder what the facility available on the campus. Everything you think of is available on the campus. Classrooms are very appropriate with projector facility. There is a well-rich library, free Wi-Fi on the campus, medical facility with high security, everything is available. Somehow availability of boys hostel lacks there. The canteen is available on the campus and prices are very reasonable. The quality of food is sufficient enough. Labs and studio very reach in quality. The hostel rooms are very good, security and cleanliness are satisfactory. Apart from the hostel allotment, I did not find any infrastructure problem during my session.
Faculty: The college has highly qualified faculty members along with may researcher and scholar. All are very knowledgeable and highly experienced. At times, senior editors of different Hindi news channels and print media visited our college as a visiting faculty. Teachers are very helpful and friendly. All of them have a nice teaching method, and they are easily make their students understand. You cannot forget once you have attended their class seriously. The teaching method is very useful, and more importantly, the course design is very relevant and industry oriented. There is one teacher for every 10 students in the college. During your internship process, you get industry exposure. The course curriculum is very useful and helpful for our future jobs.
Other: Fresher and farewell is the traditional festival of the campus organised every year. At times, the cultural festival is also organised. As our campus is a part of JNU campus, so the crowd is always overloaded. You find complete academic environment inside the campus. The campus surrounding is full of a market. There is a very green environment on the campus. The college also organise some role-playing events and inter-college competitive. JNU campus is also known for students and politics, so mass communication students feel the real need and demand of journalism and power of journalism.

College was perfect and helpful in making our future bright.
Placements: The average number of students placed in our course was around 60, the average package was about Rs 7 lakhs per annum, and the highest package was over Rs 8 lakhs. Aaj Tak and ABP were the top recruiting agencies. About 50% of students got internships at different agencies, and one of the top roles was that of subeditor.
Infrastructure: Professionals were good enough to help us in all departments, including studies and any problems we might face. Classrooms were good enough to study without any kind of disturbance. The Wi-Fi was excellent. The library is one of the best places to read and do anything without any disturbance.
Faculty: Teachers were extremely helpful and eager to solve problems with academic excellence, while professionals were highly qualified and all carried high quality. Students are made qualified according to industry norms and everyone guided us perfectly. The semester exams were at one of the hardest levels, but if anyone studied hard, they could easily pass the exam.
Other: I always wanted to be a journalist, and this college is one of the best in every aspect.
