Review of Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy.

Placements: Placements are good, as many seniors landed jobs in top PSUs like ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, GAIL, and other big Navratna companies. Almost everyone received a placement offer. Some analytics companies also visit campus to recruit students. College provides internships to every student.

What should you consider while taking admission in IIPE!

Placements: Placements for the batch of 2024 have been very good considering the scarcity of opportunities and offers country-wide, with most candidates securing a good placement offer. 14 students from the 2024 batch were recruited by prestigious PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) like IOCL, HPCL, etc. The highest packages for chemical and petroleum engineering branches were 17.3 LPA and 20.71 LPA. Several other major companies and oil & gas giants also come for recruitment, which include Halliburton, HLS A...

I love my college experience for its welcoming environment and invaluable support from seniors.

Placements: The majority of the students secured placements, while a few opted for higher opportunities. The salary packages ranged from 5 LPA to 22 LPA, with the highest being offered by HPCL. Government companies primarily handle the recruitment process. All students have the chance to participate in internships, but this is contingent upon their CGPA. The roles assigned to us are not predetermined by our branch; rather, they are determined based on individual capabilities and preferences.

Students interested in the fields of petroleum and energy must be looking at this.

Placements: The placement percentage is more than 95%, and the remaining students pursue higher studies at the Indian Institute of Management, with some opting for Masters abroad. Many PSUs recruit students from here. The average package is around 10 lakhs per annum, while the lowest package is around 4 lakhs per annum. All students also secure internships in HPCL, ONGC, and other petroleum-related companies.

Fantastic hostel and college life, campus life is average.

Placements: Placements are very good here; for placements, you need to develop smart skills. Companies like ONGC, HPCL, IOCL, and HCL recruit every year, and data analytics companies also come. The percentage of placements is very good; students getting above 8SGPA get easily placed.

Placements: Around 95% of students got placed in recent years with the highest package of 32 LPA offered by ONGC, the lowest being 4 LPA and an average of 10 LPA. Getting an internship is primarily based on your own efforts but college also provides you with opportunities to get one.

Absolutely amazed by the college system and facilities.

Placements: I joined this college because of its placements and selection process. IIPE takes admission through JEE Advance. We don't have any permanent campus but still the placements are so good. The placement percentage was around 97% and students get selected in top PSU's like HPCL, IOCL, GAIL, ONGC and in many top companies from core sector as well as from data analytics. Last year average package was around 9.7lacs.
