IIT Bhilai Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: The placements at IIT Bhilai are quite good. In the 2022–23 academic year, 86.23% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 48 LPA, and the average package was 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Amazon, PayTM, TCS, Jio, and Accenture. A total of 131 offers were made.

Placements: If we neglect the recession years, then I can say placements are pretty good in my branch at least. Maximum students are placed in good companies, with top companies being like Google, Accenture, etc. Whereas only a small group of people remains unplaced or don't have good post-graduation options. Internships are not that good, but as an insider, I can say the top 50 percent of the batch at least get the good internship with an above-average stipend.

Placements: Around 50-60 percent of students were placed. The highest package was 20 LPA and the lowest package was around 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include HCL, Deloitte, Mahindra and Mahindra. Most of them got SDE roles. Overall, the placement was average.

Placements: Campus Placements 2023-24: 50% placed on campus for mechanical engineering roles in consulting, IT, core (technical), finance, analytics, management, teaching, and research. Avg (overall) - 13.02 LPA. Companies - Mahindra, Tata Autocomp, TCS, HCL, Accenture, NVIDIA, Winjit, L&T, etc.

Placements: The placement rate is 94%, which is quite high. We have a lot of internships, and the placement cell looks after placements. They conduct mock interviews and make us ready for the interviews. The top companies who come for placements are Google, NVIDIA, Amazon, and Microsoft. The highest placement on campus was INR 48,00,000 and INR 82,00,000 off campus.

Placements: My name is Aayush, and I am a student in my 2nd year pursuing a B.Tech in Mechatronics Engineering. Since this branch was introduced in our college only 2 years ago and my batch is only the 2nd batch, we have to wait till our seniors get placed before giving an opinion about the placements in this course. Placements: Placements in our institute are good and balanced every year. Many EE students pursue higher education like Masters and PhD in foreign universities. Some students from EE appear for placements in the software and electronics domain and successfully get good packages. The highest package for last year's placement was 42 Lakhs CTC. Companies like NVIDIA, Intel, CDAC, Paytm, and Deloitte bring regular placement and internship opportunities.

Placements: Placements in Chemistry are mainly for teaching. This year pharma companies will also come and the placement package is around 7 LPA minimum to 12 LPA on campus and off campus 14-15 LPA. In my batch, I got an internship with my 2 other classmates at iiser, barc.

Placements: Placements in IIT Bhilai are quite decent. In my course, Electrical Engineering, the median package is around 14.85 LPA, with the highest being 28 LPA for Electrical Engineering and 48 LPA overall. Top recruiting companies include Deo-elite, Infosys, TCS, and more.

Placements: I am in my second year of B.Tech. EE. I will graduate from this college in 2027. Till now, what I have experienced is that this college has good infrastructure. The placement cell is average from my point of view, as the highest package last year was 48 LPA, and that was also international, not domestic. If you have skills and are good at academics, you can grab a 20+ LPA easily.

Placements: 33% placements were offered this year because of recession. The average package is 14 to 16 LPA. Deloitte is the top recruiter. The thing I don't like is that Google doesn't come here but yes, Microsoft and Amazon do come here. People mostly try off-campus and they get very good packages like 60 LPA, 80 LPA and even 1 CRPA. There is less competition because of the smaller population, as this is a third-generation IIT.

Placements: IIT Bhilai is one of the best colleges for placements in electrical engineering. Almost 100% of the students get placements in our college. The average package offered at our college was between 4-9 LPA. Top recruiters at the college were Tata Motors, Hero, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. for our course.

Placements: As the ECE Branch is a new department, right now there are no B.Tech. students currently enrolled in the course, and only 2 M.Tech. and 3 Ph.D. students are enrolled in the ECE program as of now. So placement data can't be provided, as we are the first batch enrolled here.

Placements: As IIT Bhilai is a recently developed IIT, the placements in the college are mediocre, with the domestic package being INR 28 LPA and the highest international package being INR 48 LPA given by Accenture Japan. The average will be around INR 14 LPA in 2023. Major recruiters include Deloitte, HCL, Google, Mahindra, ICICI, etc.

Placements: The Data Science and Artificial Intelligence course offers great insight into future possibilities and also uncovers the new horizons that can be reached if proper guided effort is put into certain areas of study. I have learned a lot from my professors and would love to put it to use.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. Almost all students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA.

Placements: Placement Cell is very enthusiastic about bringing new companies to the campus for placements. The average package is about 13 LPA in this recession time which is more than that of many institutions in the country and easy to do things here than that in others.

Placements: Around 100% of students get placed in our college. Top recruiting companies are Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Tesla, and Accenture. Interviews are taken by them.

Placements: Average package of last placement session was 14-15 LPA. In which most of the students preferred non-core sector. More than 90% students, who registered for placement got placed with decent package, along with that 100% placement was observed in M.Tech CSE.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA, the lowest salary package is 10 LPA, and the average salary package is 16 LPA. Around 50% of students get internships. Placements provided in CSE are good. Amazon, VM Ware, Commvault, Air Asia, Paytm, Jio, Radisys, Media. Net, Sterlite, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, LTI, and CDAC are the recruiting firms.
