Something is better than nothing. So our college is something but not the best thing !
Placements: Placement is the sector in which our college needs to improve. I do agree our geographical location is also a reason for the less number of companies coming to our. And if I go branch specific then our branch has the best percentage of placement among our college. But the think is that it's not just the amount of students who are getting placed it's about the amount of package they are getting paid for. In that section I think our college should improve. But still it's work in progress and increasing day by day !at the present time it is okay.
Infrastructure: Like place this portion is 50-50. yes we have one new academic building for classes with facilities like cctv, digital finger printing, lift still under construction. Yes the building is bigger in space but not that big to fill all the branch academics as well lab practicals. So for lab practicals we have to go to old building where half of the instruments are missing half of the instruments are broken. So we have to manage in that section which can be improved. But just like placements it's also improving as our college has be sanctioned to be doomed as an university. So hoping for the best. Then about hostels. I am a day scholar so can not give a brief description about it but it is also 50-50. so hostels are new and good while some of them are old where there is scope of improvement.
Faculty: I would have rated it above average but one think pulled me back which is it's curriculum which needs improvement. Yes the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. But I do not think the curriculum makes us totally industry ready. Then coming to semester exams. I myself believe that it is easy to pass the semesters without any problem.

Old college and good faculty. Infrastructure needs to be improved.
Placements: 50% students are placement. The highest package is 8 LPA, average is 6.5 LPA and the lowest is 3.2 LPA. Top recruiters are TATA, BSL and ADANI as core and Infosys, Wipro and TCS as non-core. 70% students got internship in government steel plants from metallurgy branch.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is provided in classrooms as we as in library. The quality of food is very hygienic. There is a garden, sports club, etc. In hostels, a dispensary is available for medical emergencies. Gym equipment are also present. A badminton coach is there.
Faculty: All the teachers are passouts from NITs and IITs. Semester exams are quite difficult but if you study properly then you won’t have any problem. Pass percentage is about 93. If you get a backlog then you will have reappear for that exam in the next academic year.
Other: We are the 39th metallurgy branch of our college. The course is too old and but the faculty members are very supportive. The practical labs need to improve.

It would have been better if there would have been more hostels.
Placements: Placements in our college are good enough and about 70% of the students get placed. Nalco and other such companies come with a great salary package for placements. We get internships and get trained in these companies to get a better experience for fieldwork. Our college supports us wholeheartedly.
Infrastructure: Our college boasts of having a fully developed infrastructure for training the students for their subjects. Even though hostels aren't enough for the students the existing quarters are well maintained.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive, and they provide us with their valuable time to clear our doubts.
