MDR Pune is a college with great ROI. The alumni network is very strong, located in the heart of Pune city. Faculty and visiting faculty members are from various backgrounds and very encouraging. The average salary and placements are good, it has a very good library and is located in the beautiful Fergusson College campus.

IMDR is the oldest B-School in Pune, providing quality management education from over 40 year. In 2010 The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Directorate of Technical Education(DTE) has approved IMDR's PGDM programme with an intake of 120 students. There is a good mix of students from different parts of the country. It believes in SDLC ie student driven learning system. The placement cell at IMDR is run by students and is very robust. The average package offered to 2012-14 bat...

The best part about IMDR is the Self Driven Learning System which encourages students to come out with innovative ideas while learning which is in sharp contrast to other B-schools who are focusing on bookish knowledge. The placement and internship programmes are also student driven wherein students decide which companies’ to invite for the campus recruitment depending upon the profile of the students. Hence it helps students in early stages of their student life about planning for their future ...

College with good infrastructure, alumni base and placements.

Placements: Placements here are good. I am in my first year and around 60% of my seniors got placed in good companies. Many of the first year students got summer internships. The junior and senior placement cells are student driven. The college has a good alumni base too.

The oldest b-school in school, having the best return on investment.

Placements: Placement is good, many reputed known company like TCS, Again paints, Bajaj finserv and many other visits campus, on an average package is around 5.5lpa. In current batch out of 120 80 are placed, and the process is still going, one can say that it has got the best return on investment as the current year fees of the college is just 3.5lpa. In my suggestion it is one of the best college in terms of both placement and return on investment. I will definitely suggest MBA aspirants to come to this p...

It is a decent B-school to pursue PGDM.

Placements: Placements at IMDR are average but they need to improve as years pass by. IMDR should be known back to the name that it had earned as the IIM of middlemen. The average placement package for IMDR this year is around 5 LPA. The roles offered were wealth manager, management trainee. etc.

Avearage and can do a lot better to upgrade itself.

Placements: The highest package offered to date is 7.5 lakhs while the lowest is around 3.5 lakhs. While already more than 30 companies offered management jobs, the student conversion ratio was not very great.

Satisfied with the institute.

Placements: Till now (January), the placements are below par as companies are playing safe in hiring with the impact of demonetization. Till now the percentage of students placed is more than 60 and still counting. Already more than 30 companies have offered jobs for students but the conversion rate is low.
