Good experience at ITER during my tenure.

Placements: Placement in my batch was good with an average package of 3.5 LPA. Companies of all genres like IT, automobiles, production, etc had given job offers. Some of the companies that visited the campus were TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hindustan Motors, TVS, etc. Mostly, graduate engineer roles were offered.

Sifting through the myriad of options at ITER.

Placements: Placements were good for our batch. About 70% of the batch got placed and most of them were placed in the IT sector. The highest was 14 LPA offered by Amazon and lowest was around 2.5 LPA offered by a few companies. The average was around 3.3 LPA. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, Amazon, SAP, Collabera, Adani Group, Mahindra, Teksystems and a host of other companies visited the campus. A minimal number of students got the internship from the college.

Good placements in 2016. Total 875 students placed in TCS. Overall it is a very good college.

Placements: The placement of our senior batch is very good. Around 75% of our college students were placed in different companies. The average package that a company offered last year was around 6lakh. Renault, Toshiba, Deloitte like companies visited last year. 60% students get internship every year in different companies like TVS. The minimum stipend is Rs. 18000 per month.

Good placements and helps in building a strong base.

Placements: The placements were very good in my batch. Around 70 to 80% students got placed. There were few companies which offered handsome packages, so it depends on the students how they perform. In terms of internships, the college doesn't support much. Mostly, students do internships through their personal contacts.

Totally dissatisfied only because of the faculty but for placement it is totally worth the money.

Placements: This college has got a reputation for good placement. Having 90% of its students placed this year, I can only tell that this is the lowest in the recent years. It has brought more than 35 companies this year. With TCS and Infosys being its ally for picking a major percentage of the college students, I don't think that even a below average student in ITER has to worry about being placed.

Absolutely satisfied with the academic record, but very much disappointed with the placement.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, to be honest, this college gives more priority to the ECE branch and for students seeking 60%. But less than 60% is going to be very tough here until and unless students are renowned for other co-curricular activities.

Definitely the best college in Odisha for engineering.

Placements: Placements are one of the best in the state. Apart from the mass recruiters like Wipro and TCS which take around 700 students or more a year, we have companies like Deloitte, Standard chartered, Amazon, Indian Navy, etc. Placement training starts 4-5 months before the start of the 4th year. Placements start a month before the beginning of final year academic session. Placement training includes aptitude, reasoning, HR classes, PI, and computer language classes such as C, C++, Java etc. Rhe facul...

Disappointing campus in our batch 2016. It's going down further.

Placements: In our batch, placement was not all that good and it is deteriorating further in our next batch. In our batch, only one mass recruiting company came and that was TCS. It took around 864 students at a package of 3.2 LPA but that was it. No other mass recruiting company came for us although we had been told that Wipro may come and we had registered twice for it. Other companies like Tech Mahindra, L&T, Capgemini, Cognizant etc came but no company took more than 25-30 students. Life for students h...

Placements in ITER 2017 and other details about the faculty, facilities etc. of the college.

Placements: The placements for 2017 batch was average. The average salary is 3 lpa and the highest is 8.4 lpa. Basically, companies visited for software developers. Other companies like Deloitte offered the role of business technology consultant. Byju offered the role of business technology associate. Few companies also hired for the post of software testers. A lot of companies offered internships, mostly startups. Out of 600 students placed, near about 200 got an internship which started from February. Th...

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements are okay is in our college. Only one thing is that the students have to study a little bit on their own for the placements. I think more than 30 companies visited our college for recruitment.

Good college, good faculty, good placement, small campus but big buildings and good infrastructure.

Placements: The campus recruitment 2017 is good in our college. Almost all students get a job by the end of the 4th year. The placement cell is very active in bringing many reputed and good companies for placement drives. Among the companies that come, there is Inautix, TechSystems, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, IBS Software, Tech Mahindra, Adani, Capgemini and much more. I myself got placement in Tech Mahindra in the month of September. If you are an average student without any backlogs, then you can easily crac...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, bad placements in 2016-1, really good infrastructure.

Placements: Our batch placements have not started yet. 50% of our senior batch got placed. The highest package was 7.5 LPA offered by Deloitte and the lowest was 2.5 LPA offered by Inautix. The top companies like TCS, Inautix, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Mahindra and Mahindra etc visited. No one got any internship yet, but maybe some tried through off-campus and achieved it.

ITER is good for an average student. If you failed for NIT, try ITER.

Placements: Nice placement season. Many companies visited ITER, like Tek System, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Zycus, Mindtree, Juspay, Inautix, Standard Chartered Bank, Think n Learn etc. With the average salary of 3 to 6 lakhs per annum, it is more than worth for students of this college. Because everyone is a 9 pointer with knowledge equivalent to 5 pointers.

ITER - Pros and cons you might be interested in.

Placements: I was placed in Tech. Mahendra. Deloitte and other big companies visited but it took only 20-30 students. Though opportunities are vast just that you should know how to utilize it. Apart from that if you do hard work and spend at least 1 hour in learning C++ or Java then you would surely top the campus.

The major selections were in the software companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini etc. The average salary package offered was around 4 lacs, whereas for the core sector companies like Jindal Steel, ERA Groups etc, the average package offered was about 4.5 lacs. Placements: The placement cell is really active in bringing as many companies as possible so that all students get placed. I got placed in IBS Software Pvt Limited in October 2016. This year till now almost 60-70 % students in the college have been placed, and still many companies are coming. Among companies those come are TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Delloite, Mindtree, TechSystem, Standard Chartered bank, CDK Global, Inautix, Eastern software, Synapse India, Juspay, many others visited and also still vi...

Placements: The college provides good placements. You would get a good start from here if you are in the top students of the college. I also got placed in Infosys but I dropped it. The college provides placements with a median salary of around 4 lakhs per annum.

Placements: The placements were average. The maximum placement was around 8 LPA and the college guarantees about 100% placement but was not able to provide the same. Companies like TCS, Ashok Leyland, etc came for placements.

Placements: The placement here is not that good with an average salary of around rupees 3 to 4 lakhs. ] The placement provided here is good for an average start but not for a good one. The college has a tie-up with the companies wherein the same companies come here to recruit always.
