A brief description about ITER, Soa University.

Placements: There is no placement guarantee. It depends on your career and CGPA during the degree course. Whatever branch you may opt, mostly you will be placed into IT sector. Mostly companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., are common placement visitors. The starting salary offered is about 20-25K. And, at the highest, it will start from 28-30k, and about 70% of the students get an internship from the college. The stipend offered by the college was 15k in the previous year.

The college has the good faculty, average infrastructure and placement.

Placements: The placements are not that great for the core branches, but for the IT sector, it has potential. The institute had his fair share of blows past year because of the fake placement scandal, but they have to try their best to overcome that problem this year. There are the new placement drives every month now. Overall, the placements are average.

Good placement in recent years.

Placements: Here, the placements are good, as compared to other colleges in Bhubaneswar and in the recent years, this college has given better results in the placement in all the branches, especially in CS CSIT and ECE. Here both in B.Tech and as well as in M.Tech placements are good. There is also a placement cell here.

The faculty members are helpful, and the infrastructure is good. The placements were are not good.

Placements: The placements of our college is almost good. 80% and more than 80% are placed in good companies. In our college, many companies are visited like Infosys, Mahindra, TCS, Deloitte etc. The average salary given by companies is Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 4,000 per annum and the highest salary for batch 2016 is Rs. 27,000.

This is just an average private college.

Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, this college mainly depends on some big MNCs like TCS and Infosys, which are the main mass recruiters. You cannot expect a much higher package from this college as every student just get placed in the IT companies with an average package ranging from 2.9-3.5 LPA. Only a few students, who go for off-campus can grab some good packages from good companies. As the highest package is concerned, the highest was 12 LPA offered by Amazon in the year 2016. In 2017,...

ITER is a good college but it can improve in certain areas to compete with other colleges.

Placements: The ITER called out some of the good companies for placements, but more core companies should be targeted as there are lot many students in the core departments. IT companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro are the main recruiters who recruit around 30 to 40% of the batch.

The college has good infrastructure with good faculty members, and placements % should increase.

Placements: For placement, many companies visit our college. About 70 companies come and hire students, but maximum companies are from software based, and core companies are hardly 4-5. About 75% of the total students in the college get hired. The highest offered package is 13 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. We have a placement cell.

The college is excellent in academics.

Placements: For the 2010-14 batch, the placements were not good. Only 40% of the students were placed. As said by the companies, due to the recession, the vacancy dropped. Also, companies like the Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit the college for placements. Also, a pre-placement preparation is held in the college.

The placements and the infrastructure of the college are good.

Placements: There are no core placements for the civil engineering students. You can get a software placement easily. Very fewer students are placed in civil department every year. The placement was good before 2014. The core companies used to come. But after 2014, only software companies came to the college. Last year some fake placements happened due to the mistake of college management and placement department.

The placements are good in 2016 and it has good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement wise, the college is good. But last few days due to some disturbances the placement was affected. Overall, the placements are good. The college is focusing on students growth. Various MNCs are visiting and doing a good job. The college is offering an average salary of 3.4 lakh per annum, and other companies are coming with 7LPA-8LPA salary packages.

Good placements in 2016, but 2017 was a great setback to the institute.

Placements: The institute has got its name and fame just because of its placement. Many well-known companies visit this institute and recruit excellent students, and the placement rate average is also quite good here. The required CGPA is nearly equal to 7.5 which is a must to sit in a campus recruitment process. The placed student seems quite satisfied after getting placement from here.

The placements will be an issue for some coming years.

Placements: The current batch has been worried about the placements, following the fake placement allegations due to which a lot of good multinational companies used to be one of the major placement companies which are banned for many years. Before that, the placements are well.

It is a good college to study.

Placements: Earlier, placements were very good. But nowadays, it is decreasing. In the present situation, students of every branch have to learn computer programming. The companies coming nowadays are software companies. As I am from electrical engineering, I don't want to go for the software companies, but still, if I want placement, I have to learn C Java etc.

Not satisfied with the placements of 2017 batch.

Placements: In our batch, many of the students were placed. But, we faced an unfortunate situation, at the end of 2016, some of the fraud companies came to our college for recruitment. 50% of the students were placed. The highest package was 6 lakhs. Many reputed companies like Deloitte, Capgemini, L&T came to the college. The roles were like graduate engineer trainee, software developer, a software tester.

This is the best college for getting your bachelors degree.

Placements: We have a great performance in the branches of CS and ECE. But the core branches like mechanical and civil don't have a good performance. This is a great college for getting placed in the IT industry. There is mass recruitment from the IT companies like TCS, Infosys and Tech Mahindra with very good packages.

Dissatisfied with the placements in core branches. The quality of the teaching is excellent.

Placements: The placement percentage is quite good though most of the students are placed in software companies, and very few got placed in core companies. The average package lies between 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The placement cell is very efficient and useful. The highest package recruiter was Amazon, a year ago.

Satisfied with the faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements used to be high during 2008-2014. Now it has decreased slightly but not less. Most of the computer science students get placed by the end of the course. The core branches like mechanical and civil find it hard to get placed. The lowest salary offered was from Indigo like Rs. 13,000. TVS Motor gives internship every year with a job upon successful completion of the internship.

Placements: In 2015 batch, 50% to 55 % students were placed. In 2016 batch, the percentage of placement is a little bit higher, which is approximately 60% to 65%. In the civil and mechanical branch, the placement rate is low, which is 30% to 40%. In CS branch, the rate is approximately 80%. For the rest of the branches, it is 50%. The college is neither the best nor the worst. You can join if you have the money.

Placements: The placement percentage in ITER is 100%. More than 50 companies visit the campus for the placements. For the mass recruitment, there are companies like Infosys and TCS. The average salary offered is 3.5 LPA. The big companies like Amazon also visit, but they select only 2-3 persons and offer 15 LPA.
