Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Many cultural competitions, technical workshops & competitions are there in Technoparv.
Placements: Many of the students from my batch got placed in big MNC's like TCS, DXC, WIPRO, Infosys etc. I am in my final year of B.E. Electronics and communication course and already got placed in a big MNC DXC Technology as an Associate Professional Software Engineer post. I am thankful to the training and placement cell of IPS College to give me this opportunity.
Infrastructure: This college has a very vast college campus, which is one of the biggest infrastructures in the state. IPS College infrastructure includes big open amphitheatre for various programs, a big indoor stadium and a huge outdoor stadium for almost all the common sports, swimming pool, canteen and libraries. I really like the sports facilities provided by IPS College.
Faculty: All the teachers at IPS College are well qualified and knowledgeable. Most of our teachers are Ph.D. holder. My college teachers are so supportive, they are always ready for the help and any doubt in academics. My college has many labs for all the subjects that come in the curriculum. My college also has a big library as well which includes a huge collection of all kind of books.
Other: One of the best things I like in my college life is technical fest i.e. Technoparv. Technoparv is organized for 5-6 days and those 5-6 days are so enjoyable like many cultural competitions, technical workshops and competitions includes Robo race, Robo war etc. Are there. This fest ends with the DJ night and Star night.

Placements are dissatisfying.
Placements: The placements are offered mostly for the students of CS branch. Even EC branch students can attend those interviews because they can also apply for software field. 10-30% of the students get placed because of lack of skills. The highest package offered is Rs. 5 lakhs per annum. Aptitude is a must for the 1st level of any interview.
Infrastructure: The campus has five buildings. The first one is for engineering, the second one is for MBA, third is for B.com, fourth is for BBA, and the fifth is for physical education. The infrastructure is really good and quite impressive. Almost every building has a library. Classrooms are average. Only one canteen is available in the college. There is a basketball court, football ground, cricket ground, tennis, badminton and few more sports facilities are available in the college. Hostels are provided only for boys.
Faculty: As I am from EC branch, I can give information about EC faculty only. They are quite supportive, knowledgeable and provide good knowledge for those students who really wish to do something in their life. We have a software lab and a hardware lab. Apart from this, labs are available for every subject. Industry exposure depends on students, if they want, then the teachers will definitely support them. The teachers use boards for teaching.
Other: Sports competitions are held many times in a year. Surroundings are good. The scholarship is provided only to the students who belong to OBC, SC and ST castes. Two fests are celebrated every year, one is technofest and the other is Villay. We really enjoy these fests.

It was good but not good for placement purpose.
Placements: This college did not provide any placement. It was done by pool campus drive because in my college less number of companies visited this year. I will suggest you not to take admission in this college they will not give you a placement or job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is good. Swimming pool, cricket field, football ground, auditorium, laboratory, computer laboratory, classes, very indoor kind of facilities they will provide you.
Faculty: It was good they will help you any situations, suggest you and motivate you in any way and give you lots of knowledge about your field branch. It helps you to get the job easily but not providing you a platform to get the job opportunity.
Other: It was good, but you did not give you a job so don't take admission in this college. Because your education will depend on your future so take decision properly. My opinion is that don't take this college take those who will give you a platform to get job opportunities.

All facilities present in this college except placements.
Placements: The placement is not good in this college because all the companies come for CS/IT Branch Only. As my branch is electronics and communication, so for the placement in the college in our core field is not good. In my class, 3 girls got placed in the college campus placements out of 30 students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in this college. 4 buildings are present engineering, pharmacy, MBA and B.Ad. In this college, there is a big garden, a cricket field and also a football field. For sports, there is a particularly big auditorium where all the facilities are present. There is a big library where 1500 books are present and I can say that I was not buying a single book from the market.
Faculty: The faculty team is so good for freshers because they know all the situation of freshers. The big thing is that all of them are M.Tech holders and they have an experience of at least 5 years, so you can think of the feeling to study with them.
Other: If you play sports, there are all facilities present. But this is not enough to choose a college. In this college, all things are good except placements. If you want to be an entrepreneur, you can choose this college. In some words, I would say don't expect campus placements in this college.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements, faculty was ok, extremely good infrastructure.
Placements: The placements were not so good. Most students were placed in off-campus. Companies like Wipro BPO, Tech Mahindra & some small Noida-based companies came to the campus. Average placement was 2 to 2.5 lakh. HCL & other technical support companies visited. Some fake companies also visited.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are highly equipped. Sports places were there, table tennis court, badminton court, cricket stadium, basketball stadium, football ground, boxing court & various other games court. The hostel is quite good with wifi facility. The library is very good, quality of the food was average. The canteen was not good. Nescafe canteen was good.
Faculty: The faculty is highly cooperative. Teaching pattern was good. Some of the teachers have a high standard of teaching. Most of the teachers are masters. Hod was quite good. You can trust the faculty team. They will never let you down. If you have any doubt you can call them at any time. They will give you proper time & help you in every step.
