B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2022
Offered by J.T. Mahajan College of Engineering
2.4
2Placements3Infrastructure2Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
The college is good and it is only for poor students who are unable to go to Pune and Mumbai.
Placements: About 10-15% of students got placed. The salary package offered is from
2.5 LPA to 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Byju's and Wipro. About 5% of students got internships. For engineering roles, there is a wide variety of jobs offered but only for the computer and E&TC engineering, there are no jobs offered. For mechanical engineering and civil engineering students, the college's placement officers are really nice.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on campus. It has a poor library. There is no mess and no inverter. Self-medical care is to be followed. There is no electricity when there is loadshading and in exam time but they have a solar water heater. There is no sanitary inspector. There is much area for sports but no sports equipment for students and no monetisation.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are helpful and teachers tried their best to teach students but the management is not so good. The syllabus is incomplete students do their studies on their own. There are fewer practical hours and practical machinery is also not in working condition.
Other: The scholarship is available from HPCL and Mahadbt.

I suggest you join this college.
Placements: Placements of our batch were average. About 25% of the students got placed from our entire batch. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Most of the companies do not visit our campus for recruitment. Our college does not provide an internship opportunity for the students.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure provided by the college are good. Students are happy with the facilities provided by the college. The laboratory is well-equipped. Computer labs are available for students. The cafeteria is also available. Overall, the environment in our college is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are willing to help students. They guide us and teach us how this syllabus can be useful for industrial work. Lectures are very professional, experienced and well qualified. Students will not hesitate to ask anything to teachers.

My four years experience in JTMCOE, Faizpur.
Placements: 4 companies in 2016-17 visited for the mechanical field in campus recruitment drive, and many students were selected, but students have no satisfaction about the job because of low salary. Somethings must be changed while organising any recruitment drive of any company.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is available with hostel and playground facility. The teachers are supportive. There is multipurpose auditorium hall in north Maharashtra University, but boys and girls hostel and playground are not located on the college campus. They are far from the college building.
Faculty: The mechanical department labs are best for practicals except some major equipment. Skilled teachers are available in the applied science department and also in the mechanical department. All are having good teaching skills with adaptation with students. They will be frank with the students.

I am very lucky to join this college because everything is available here.
Placements: The placements are better than other colleges. They provide the 100% placements for the students in the MNCs as well as Pvt Ltd company. Every year, the maximum students get selected. The placement officer, Dr G E Chaudhari sir, has very good communication and interaction with the students. He also organises various training like the placement corporation training, HRD, GD, PI training in all the four-year course of engineering.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good and has modern technology features on the campus. The entire campus is more peaceful and clean. There is a big library for students, they give books for free as well as there is a new technology study room. Every subject has a laboratory for good practical knowledge for students. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. I lived in the hostel for all the 4 years. All the hostels are good and clean. The mess is very good and the mess food provided is only vegetarian food. More facilities for the sports are provided.
Faculty: In my 4 years of engineering college life, all the staff are good to communicate, supportive, caring, helpful, and their interaction is very good. Every faculty has a good subject knowledge and more experience in teaching. Every month, they organise various guest lectures and industry visit for the students. They support every student for different creative activities like I am organising a YES+ event. More students organise the technical event YantraNad, etc. The college staff organise the annual gathering function for the students, and every student enjoys these days.

Really good infrastructure, but lacks in placements.
Placements: The companies that visited our campus were five or six in number. They took an aptitude test, GD and interview of the students, out of which 8 to 10 percent of candidates got placed with an average package of 1 to 1.2 lakhs per annum. Some of them were placed in production and maintenance while the others were offered marketing jobs. Industries like Naresh Enterprises, Greensense Energy system Pvt. Ltd., Paresh Industries from Aurangabad, came for the campus interview in our college, but no one of us got a chance for an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There is a lab for each subject, and the campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. There are also facilities like the spacious classroom, the library with various editions of a large number of books, the medical facilities and a big ground for sports like cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball. There is also a table tennis court and a badminton ground on the campus. The labs are good with all the equipment and trained staff. Projector rooms and auditorium halls are also available. A college canteen is available, but the service is not that good. The boy's hostel with 84 rooms and a women's hostel with two floors is also available. I didn't feel that anything is lacking in the infrastructure.
Faculty: My experience with all the faculty members is nice. A well-Experienced and highly qualified teaching staff with good management body is the plus point of the college. Traditional teaching methods with practicals and projector sessions are also provided. An Industrial visit is also done by the college. There is almost one professor for every 30 students. The course is almost related to the industrial knowledge.
Other: My college opened in 1984. Therefore, the staff is very experienced, and also all the rules and regulations were helpful in our growth as a thorough professional, capable of competing in the industry. But due to undeveloped industrial areas, the campus recruitment was not good.
