Jai Hind College is a college for everyone .
Placements: I recently completed my first year studying B.A. psychology. There are around 150 students in my class. We haven't been informed about any placements yet. There is a MYCAP workshop that is offered to first-year students in which they provide you with training for one month and then offer an internship. The student has to pay a fee to enroll in the program.
Infrastructure: The college does not have in-house hostels. There are two buildings, of which one has centralized AC. All the classrooms in that building have AC. There are two cafeterias, one for vegetarians and one for non-vegetarians, as well as an auditorium, library, and AV room. There is no Wi-Fi facility for students.
Faculty: The faculty here is highly knowledgeable and very well qualified. Their teaching techniques are very good. There are two semesters in each year. The papers were of medium level. The marks are divided into 40–60. There is a 60-mark theory paper at the end of each semester, and the 40 marks are divided into 20 marks for assignments and the other 20 for MCQ tests.
Other: The main event at the college is SHOUT. There are different events that take place, organized by different departments. There are various clubs like NSS, Rotaract, and the Social Dramatic Union. All these are handled by the students themselves. There is also a basement with all indoor activities, and the gym khana is responsible for all sporting events.

A vibrant campus life with meaningful courses, internships & lectures.
Placements: JHC provides full major in His/Philo/Psych/English&Eco and part major in political Science. If you opt for B.A. eco you'll be able to secure an internship by second year and if you opt for B.A. in psychology you'll get to conduct research with the professionals.
Infrastructure: Jai Hind doesn't have a hostel of it's own so most student looking to apply in JHC will have to come to Mumbai person and look for a hostel/PG/apartment in your favored location. It would be helpful if you take a hostel/PG/flat in the western line as the station is in walking distance from the college. In terms of infrastructure, Jai Hind doesn't have a campus but it has a foyer and a bleacher where you'll find your peers roaming around. Due to the conjusted space Everybody knows everybody which leads to you building helpful connections for the future.
Faculty: Faculty is one of the prime reasons behind students choosing JHC as their study destination. As the college is autonomous it introduces a lot of skill building Certificate courses for students and the course is reviewed and updated every year. Difficulty of semester exams varies from course to course.
Other: Jai Hind conducts one of the major college fest of India, shout which brings students from different parts of the country in the college.

Good college if you are into bmm
Placements: Just in first year but with what I have heard from senior you do get good placements, just hoping I do get good placements from the college cause ofc that's what you'd want. There are good enough students in the course and I'll know how the internship goes too
Infrastructure: I don't live in hostel but talking about the classrooms and all they are pretty good, they are maintained well. Library is good enough ig and canteen is meh the food is also meh most of the times, canteen is too small for this big of a crowd even with two canteen it doesn't seem big enough.
Faculty: Teacher's are good some are strict but they are helpfull enough, the course gives you experience and let's you explore things and makes you ready cause they rush you with many projects but it's good to make you ready for the hardships of the outside world.

It is an ideal institution for good education and campus life.
Placements: Being a premier institution based in Mumbai, there were umpteen placement opportunities provided by the official placement cell of the college. These were mostly inclined towards management and commerce-oriented courses and witnessed companies such as various banks (like ICICI, SBI, IT-based companies, Infosys, etc). It may not be possible to corroborate the exact packages, but they were all around 3 LPA to 5 LPA, depending on the companies.
Infrastructure: The college has umpteen space for all college-related activities (like seminars, festivals, events, and screenings). The entire campus is fully air-conditioned, which is an added bonus. There is a library, a humble canteen and a big gymkhana too. The infrastructure is getting a new makeover in one of the buildings, so expect more.
Faculty: With regards to the course B.M.M. (Mass Media), the curriculum is well-adapted to the present times due to the autonomy as compared to other institutions, but there is always scope for more improvement. The faculty are experienced, but at times, the students may be required to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps for various opportunities. However, it's better for other institutions to have the same course.
Other: I'd like to see more practical-oriented sessions because our course demands that. The events are plenty good, so any ward is supposed to be getting great exposure to the happening in the city.

It provides good faculty members with the best infrastructure.
Placements: Our seniors told that the college faculty members give a letter of recommendation to the good students, and a lot of seniors get good internships in some well-known companies with a good pay structure.
Infrastructure: Our college has two buildings, one which is referred to as the old building and the other which is referred to as the new building. B.M.M. lectures are conducted in the new building, and the classrooms are huge and well lit. There are air conditioners in every classroom. Sometimes there is a slight network issue in the new building. Library and canteen are there in the old building and are well maintained.
Faculty: Professors are qualified and helpful. They are very polite and teach their subjects well. There are a lot of practical assignments given by all the professors which help students to get a more practical approach in each subject. The course curriculum and the assignments are designed in such a way that it makes all the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult if the student has been attentive in the lectures.
Other: The events in our college are fun and it is an experience one should never miss. The campus crowd is good. Extra curricular activities help all students to explore their interests and also pursue their hobbies at the same time.

Overall, it is the best college one can get into.
Placements: Our course is one of the most well-known courses in our college. About 60% of people get placed from college placements, and the rest pursue further education. Companies like CNBC, BBC, DNA, etc., come for placements. Though our college doesn't provide internships, surely allows students to work as well as manage studies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Our college has 2 buildings, one new and one old, and a huge auditorium. The old building has courses like B.Sc., B.A., chemistry labs, etc., along with the canteen in that building, which serves amazing food. The new building shelters students who opt for courses like BMM BMS and BM.
Faculty: Our college is famous for its faculty members. We have professors who are teaching in the college for over a decade now. B.M.M. has a faculty of 15 teachers who are more than amazing with their subjects. The exams are just fine, but what is important is the attendance. You need to have a minimum of 75% attendance in order to appear for exams.
